You'll notice some of the original details of this comfortable space, and will hopefully share our excitement about some of the new updates to the unit - such as a television, king-sized bed, and fireplace heater. With its own entrance, nice-sized bathroom, and spacious closet, this cozy studio is ready for business or leisure! Plus, it's close to just about everything you need - UC Berkeley, Downtown Berkeley and BART, the Greek Theater, award-winning restaurants, and views at the Rose Garden.

Cozy Elmwood Studio near UC Berkeley

Our Cozy Elmwood Studio is like a tiny hotel room with all the comforts of home. This 120sq ft (15'x8'), newly remodeled, nicely appointed studio is an independent structure ideal for 1 guest, cozy for 2. The door of the studio faces our back patio, so you may hear us. The nightly rate includes use of our driveway. Please let us know and we will leave it empty for you. **Starting September 1, 2017 Berkeley is requiring hosts to collect a 14% occupancy tax. This is included in your fees.**

Bright Garden Suite near UCB & Greek Theater

This spacious, bright bedroom with a private attached bathroom is situated at the back of the house and opens onto a shared garden. Sleep on a king memory foam mattress and enjoy the natural light that pours through the skylight. This centrally located home is: * 3 min walk to coffee, cafes and shops * 8 min walk to UC Berkeley * 18 min walk to downtown Berkeley BART * 20 min walk to the Greek Theatre No car is needed to get around but off-street parking is available with advance notice.

Berkeley Hills Maybeck Cottage

Built in 1925, Maybecks' “Cubby” is your private, rustic, 750 sq ft, carriage house located less than a mile from Cal. Homey and basic - the deck is great for lunch, dinner, or just hanging out. It's an easy walk down to the gourmet ghetto, Thursday Markets, buses and BART. Carport provided, a car is recommended (hey it's located in the hills.) Not baby proofed, minimal fencing - sorry, no pets, babies or toddlers. Smoke free, no butts about it. Sorry, no loud music, or large gatherings.

Open the gate to a lush garden beneath a towering coastal redwood and find a cozy & gracious home away from home. Come enjoy our beautifully remodeled centrally located garden apartment. You can retreat from the busyness of everyday life and, within a few minutes walk, step back into the bustle of North Berkeley's Gourmet Ghetto. We pay a 14% Transient Occupancy Tax to the City of Berkeley, registered under license# ZcSTR2017 number 76, which is included in the list price.

Well designed, peaceful & sunny cottage - Berkeley

Come stay in a quiet, peaceful cottage in a sunny backyard on a great street in Berkeley. There's a large skylight and lots of light. The cottage has its own entrance accessed from the backyard, and is separate from the house. You can spend time relaxing on the outdoor furniture. We're about a mile from Berkeley Bowl, close to UCB, restaurants, shops. The cottage is very relaxing. People love staying here.

Painting Studio in the Trees

Located halfway up the steep Berkeley hillside in a quiet residential area. The space has amazing natural light with 4 skylights and garden facing windows. There is a patio deck with table and chairs to enjoy meals outdoors. Previously an art studio, now a simple detached cottage at the entrance of our property. Please make sure to read through the description and ask us any questions prior to booking.

Private North Berkeley In-law unit

This completely private portion of our North Berkeley home is usually available only Fri, Sat, and Sun nights, except where otherwise indicated on the calendar. If you plan to leave on Monday, check out will need to be early (9:00am). We usually cannot be flexible on that as we use it for other purposes Mon-Fri most weeks. This beautifully appointed, whimsical cottage is magical and restorative. Lovely linens, canopied Queen Keetsa bed, wifi, vintage fixtures, stained glass windows, kitchen (includes fridge, microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle, nespresso machine). All are welcome at our peaceful garden studio. It is the back of our historic home, the oldest standing structure in Berkeley! We are close to BART with easy access to SF and UC Berkeley and two blocks from Berkeley’s famous Fourth Street shopping area with unique boutiques, great restaurants, and coffee houses. Entry is private and the garden is all yours to enjoy.

Our modern, light-filled apartment at garden level includes a spacious main living and kitchen space, and a large bedroom, and luxurious bathroom. We have have Hepa filters in the apartment to ensure cleanliness and maximize environmental safety.
