Leyden's Cottage

Period mud brick cottage originally built sometime before or around 1900 with family history stretching back five generations and the gold rush. It is set on a property of nearly 30 acres with abundant wildlife and scenery. It is located approximately 5-6 kms from the township of Avoca Victoria and it is within walking distance of a couple of local wineries and the Percydale historic area. It is isolated from any close neighbours and you do not have to share facilities with any other guests.

St Andrew’s Eddington 1863

Close proximity to Maldon and Castlemaine, Eddington is a small hamlet in the Central Goldfields region. St Andrew’s is located in a peaceful setting surrounded by pastures. The 163 year old former church has been sympathetically restored to its former glory. The property has a minimalistic but warm ambience and includes two bedrooms and bathrooms, incorporating a loft area. St Andrew’s is surrounded by a 90 tree olive grove and includes a large outdoor table and entertainment area.

Whether its visiting the area or passing through, this super comfortable unit is for you! Tidy 2br unit on 25 acres of river front land. Enjoy some peace and quiet. Main has double bed, second br has double/single bunk. Extra double mattress can be offered for extra bed. Home cooked meals available by negotiation. Please be mindful that the unit is very close to the main residence and we ask you to respect that and keep noise to a minimum. Limited phone reception. Free WIFI.

Situated between the rural towns of Maryborough and Avoca, our charming mud brick house can comfortably sleep 8 people, with its four bedrooms and two living areas. There is a large outdoor area with an outdoor fire and gas BBQ, lounge and dining table. Be sure not to miss the sensational sunset over the front paddock or a walk along the creek.

The Loft

Our little loft is situated in the township of St Arnaud. It’s a self contained studio space with a kitchenette, queen bed and private bathroom. The lounge room section includes a double futon which can be easily converted into a second bed. The perfect stop over spot or destination for a weekend in the country. St Arnaud has some cute cafe’s, a couple of great pubs. It is a must see on the Silo Art Trail, with artworks located throughout the town.
