There is 1 cabin with bedroom ,1 cabin with kitchenette and couch and 1 cabin with toilet and shower...Private, next to bush and stream with view of the mountain..There is lots of outdoor space to relax in..with outdoor fireplace...the sound of running water..bush... close to rail trail..and bush walks, in the heart of gold mining history. lf you like peace and nature you will be happy here. Grab a bean bag and a book,sit in the bush or on the bush edge and allow nature to nurse you and relax.

Best spot in Whangamata: 1950's beachfront bach

Set amongst pohutukawa trees, this original 50's holiday house is located right on Whangamata beach. Enjoy unobstructed views of the ocean from the deck and huge front lawn. The famous Whenuakura (Donut Is.) is opposite as well as Hauturu Motu (Clark Is.), accessible on foot at low tide - a Kiwi rite of passage. Minutes to the local shops, bars and cafes and a short walk to the nearest convenience store. A great children's playground can be found at Island View Reserve at the end of the road.

A 2 person cosy, insulated cabin with the option for a king bed or singles arrangement. The bathroom is not ensuite but just outside and ideal. A place to unwind and take a break from the stress of city life. Secluded, quiet, private, surrounded by bush and mountains, with private parking and a restaurant, pub and river just nearby. Close to the Karangahake Gorge and the nearby towns of Waihi, Paeroa, and Waihi Beach. BBQ available, fridge, microwave, cutlery, crockery, linen, towels and WIFI.

Hereford Cottage

Welcome to our private romantic getaway at Hereford Cottage. Located in Whakatiwai, north of Kaiaua with a backdrop of the Hunua ranges. We absolutely love living here and thought we would like to share one of our favourite places with others. We offer a beautiful one-bedroom cottage with a lovely outdoor wood fire tub and a romantic little area with a firepit, nestled in a natural setting with views of a stream, native bush and native birds. Enjoy a night or a couple of nights here with us.

Peace at the Beach

Any bookings for Beach Hop must be a minimum of 3 nights. This beautiful home (bach) at Whangamata Beach on the Coromandel Peninsula, is a great place for relaxation. Located in a quiet part of town it is a 5min walk to the local swimming pool and/or golf course and a 10-15min walk to beach and town. The main shopping area with a cinema, cafes, restaurants plus a boating marina is 5 min drive. The spa pool is free but your responsibility to fill, heat and leave it clean: instructions there.

Barn Bunker, near The Pinnacles

This thoughtfully converted barn is nestled on 50acres of regenerating farmland beside the Kauaeranga River. A genuine hidden gem, the barn is designed for stargazers, romantics, and runaways. Explore local towns and markets, or watch sheep TV through your window. The Pinnacles and other trails are minutes up the road, and the river's emerald pools close by for a dip. In winter, pour a good glass, settle in with a book, or gaze at the fire as the silent hills fade into the mist. 🌳⛰️🌈

Kaiaua getaway - our home is yours

Nau mai haere mai - we welcome you to our house in beautiful Kaiaua. Enough room and space for the whole family, including the dogs. Super king bed for extra room, and the kids will love the bunks. Stroll a few metres to the beach and enjoy the peaceful sea air and a swim. Grab your daily coffee at the awesome Pink Shop along with a few goodies. Gas garage has other supplies you might need. Hit the Rail Trail if you’re a keen biker and enjoy the area. Our space is yours.

Rest at Rahu

Escape to "Rest at Rahu," a serene haven, surrounded by lush greenery. You're spoilt for choice with excellent dining options 10-20 minutes away and Waihi Beach just a 25-minute drive, indulge in relaxation. Explore Karangahake Gorge walkways 5 minutes down the road. Return to bask in peaceful ambiance, whether in the outdoor bath, on the deck, by the fire, or stargazing from the hammock. It's a special retreat to recharge, create lasting memories, and really relax.

Te-Ana Dome

Escape to a lovely tranquil setting in this romantic eco based retreat surrounded by nature situated only 1.5 hours from Auckland. Perfect in any weather. Situated at the start of the Kauearanga Valley with numerous bush walks and river swimming nearby. Close to the rail trail for biking or into town for a coffee. Maybe have a spa while watching the sunset over the hills, sit on the deck reading, or toast marshmallows over the gas firepit. Glamping at its best.

The Bus Depot.

The Bus Depot is a rustic retreat overlooking the beautiful firth of Thames. A beautifully restored 1979 Bedford bus which has all the modern comforts but still retains original features of the bus, this area has sleeping for two along with kitchen area, fridge, gas stove and a dining area on the covered deck. From the daybed to the loft space or going for a walk on the farm or just sitting in front of the fire you can enjoy the views at this outstanding location.
