A newly renovated farmhouse is the perfect getaway for any large family or couple looking to slip away to a quiet family farm located in Jackson County, home of the Daniel Boone National Forest and 15 minutes away from Flat Lick Falls. We have 4 BR. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower combo. The living room has a couch, loveseat, recliner and smart tv. Free wifi. Looking for seclusion? How about relaxing in a hot tub on a cliff?! Romance on the Rocks rests on and between HUGE BOULDERS providing an intimate and private setting. There are all kinds of places to relax here - the front porch, side porch, upper balcony outside the loft, the loft has a king size bed, a jacuzzi tub that can provide a spectacular view (see photo in listing) and, of course, the hot tub tucked under the rockface. There are few places like this cabin in the Red River Gorge area!

There is a large yard where you can feed the goats, enjoy the hot tub, or even end the day with a campfire. There is a walking trail around the property or you can drive approx. 35 minutes to Red River Gorge for an array of activities including kayaking, rock climbing, and hiking. So many memories are awaiting to be made at Second Wind Cottage.

We provide an escape that is situated near a spring lake with beautiful mountain views. It is located just over 11 miles off of the I75 exit. During the day you can find yourself searching out some local activities such as Cumberland Falls, Colonel Sanders Museum... When you're ready to relax; just sit back, make a campfire to roast marshmallows or fire up the barbecue grill! This is a former paylake and no longer used for fishing except when private events have booked the entire property.
