The Pines Treehouse @ Treetops Hideouts
The Pines Treehouse is nestled underneath a huge oak tree sitting high above the running water of Sand Beck. Nature cocoons you and you can reach out and touch the trees, see wildlife all around you amongst the pines. With breathtaking views through the tress and across the valley you are completely private having no other accommodation on the site making this a truly unique and special experience. A great effort has gone into creating this space to allow you to simply relax and reset in nature.

On a clear day views as far as Blyth & Whitby. The sandy beach has wonderful rock formations & an abundance of sea glass after a high tide. Regular sightings of seal, dolphin, deer and rare birds. Also the beach is the location of the final scenes of Get Carter with Michael Caine & Britt Ekland (1970).

To the East we have the coastal town of Seaham Harbour, to the West we have Beamish Museum, County Durham and Northumberland

Enjoy a relaxing drink in the garden or the large patio ( with or without the goats!). Perhaps even a BBQ ( gas BBQ available on request). Pop over the village green to the pub. Cosy down and prepare for your next adventure watching satellite T.V. Cook a light meal or order a take away. Very peaceful location and very comfortable accommodation.
