Holly Yurt

Holly is a traditional Yurt, 16ft in diameter it accommodates up to 4 people. Holly is set up with a double bed and 2 pull out single beds. Holly is one of our more secluded yurts, sited a short walk approximately 220 metres down from the Hub. Holly has an exceptional view over the Moray Firth and is a real favourite amongst guests. For those of you booking in a large group the closes yurts to Holly are Cherry (sleeps 4) and Juniper ( sleeps 4). Please note we do not accept dogs in Holly yurt.

Secluded Ptarmigan Yurt

For the first time since we installed it we are opening for the winter months as there are a lot of people around and the weather at the moment is quite warm. To do this we have installed a small oil heater which will keep the temperature up even when the fire is not lit. Once you light the fire it will be really cosy and warm. There is also an electric blanket on the bed for those colder nights. We do reserve the right to move you to the house if the weather becomes inclement.

20' woodland yurt in Highland glen

Set in our small mixed woodland at West Cottage and Stables in in picturesque Glenlyon, our 20ft yurt offers the privacy of a forest setting, two fire pits (one under cover), a wood burning range cooker with an oven, and a double bed . The yurt is lined with wool, and there's a pull out twin bed and an electric coolbox, kettle and toaster. There's cold water in the yurt and a full bathroom a short walk up to our house. There's also your own loo right by the yurt.

Juniper Yurt

Juniper is a traditional Yurt, at 18ft across it is our most spacious 4 person yurt. Juniper is set up with a double bed and 2 pull out single beds. Juniper is located below the hub, it is quite a steep walk down to this yurt ( aproximatly 185 metres) but we think it is well worth it! For those of you booking in a larger group the closest Yurts to Juniper are Holly (sleeps 4), Cherry (sleeps 4) and Hazel Geodome (sleeps 2). Juniper is a dog friendly Yurt.

Rowan Yurt

Rowan is a traditional Yurt and sleeps up to 4 guests. It is also 16ft in diameter and is set up with a double bed and 2 pull out single beds. Rowan is approximately 130 metres from the Hub. Its a fairly easy walk, less steep than some of the other yurts. For those of you booking as part of a larger group, the closest yurts to Rowan are Larch (sleeps 5), Aspen (sleeps 4), Willow (sleeps 5) and Hazel Geodome (sleeps 2). Rowan is a dog friendly Yurt.

Cherry Yurt

Cherry Yurt is a traditional 16ft Yurt and accommodates up to 4 people. There is a double bed and 2 single pull out beds. Cherry boasts an excellent view across to Fort George and Chanonry Point. Cherry is a short but steep walk down from the Hub (approximately 150 metres). For those of you booking in a larger group Cherry is closest to Holly (sleeps 4), Juniper (sleeps 4) and Hazel (sleeps 2). Cherry is a dog friendly yurt.

Larch Yurt

Larch Yurt is our most recent creation and is new for the 2021 season. Larch Sleeps up to 5 people and is set up with a double bed, a single bed and a set of bunk beds. Larch is a totally unique design based on a traditional yurt but with a contemporary twist that really makes it something special.

Beinn Dearg yurt - Shieldaig

Yurt on the Black Isle - Aspen Yurt

Aspen is a 4-person yurt comprising of a double bed and 2 singles, self-catering facilities (twin gas hob, all pots, pans, plates, cups, etc), and access to a modern, high quality toilet/shower facility a short walk from the Yurt.

Birch Lodge at Aos Sí

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. A unique octagonal design and high pitch roof, the sound of the birds and the stream nearby with a super king extra comfortable bed.

Yurt in Torridon

Enjoy the Peace of the Scottish Highlands. Located on a local croft between the Munro Liathach and Loch Torridon. This off grid yurt is the perfect escape.
