The Studio Somers

Once a beach shack, became an artist’s studio, then rescued as a comfortable home and holiday escape, close to the beach and Somers General Cafe. A wonderful place to sit and relax, walk on the beach or explore local wineries and farm produce. In order to safely manage the conditions brought with COVID (and maintain our low tariff) we introduced a 3 night minimum. We are now able to offer a 2 night stay but this is at a higher rate than a stay for 3 nights or more. Please enquire for the rate.

Relaxing Beach Cottage

With only a 200 metre stroll to Balnarring Beach, this two-bedroom attached cottage is perfect for a family holiday, only an hour’s drive from Melbourne to enjoy all that the Mornington Peninsula has to offer. Marmaduke Cottage provides an open plan living room – modern kitchenette, with split system, two bedrooms, bathroom and laundry with washing machine and dryer. Yallumbee Beach Studio is a beautiful, spacious retreat just 5 minutes walk to Balnarring Beach on the Mornington Peninsula. The studio is a newly renovated space, detached from the main property, that gives your own space to call home with the added benefits of a sunny deck, pool access and a wood-fired pizza oven and BBQ area. A private retreat only 10 to 15 minutes away from the heart of the Mornington Peninsula’s wine region, Yallumbee Beach Studio is the perfect space to unwind and relax.

Somersea Cottage. Very close to the beach and cafe

My place is close to the beach and the local cafe/restaurant. You’ll love my place because of the cosiness, the high ceilings and the quiet, secluded setting. My place is good for couples and families. The main bedroom has a DOUBLE bed. The loft is set up with two single beds. There is a floor couch that could be used for a 5th. I have a portacot if needed. The cottage has its own private courtyard with a gas BBQ. It is located in a very quiet court, just a 5 min walk to the beach and cafe.

#Parkerfarmstay is a 11 acre hobby farm. We have 2 units on the farm PF1 sleeps 5 and PF2 sleeps 7. This one is cosy next to chickens/ducks, the other is larger + laundry next to the playground. Ideal for family or friend groups who want to stay together on the Mornington Peninsula. BELLA COTTAGE Private & relaxing accommodation down a quiet court on the Mornington Peninsula. Bella Cottage is the perfect base for exploring all that the Mornington Peninsula has to offer, including wineries, breweries, hot springs, island ferries, restaurants, golf courses and beaches. Bella Cottage is close to HMAS Cerberus. Bella Cottage offers private self-contained accommodation for 2 adults (or 1) on our 2-acre property with a country style aspect including friendly farm animals.

The perfect mid century beach house and separate bungalow directly behind the Somers Yacht Club and across the road to one of the best swimming beaches on the Peninsula. An easy stroll through the bush or along the beach to the General Store for one of the best breakfasts on the Peninsula! Relax on the lawn under the huge Eucalypt or snuggle up by the fire. Retro Beach house across the road and over the sand dunes to the beach. Recently updated with new furniture, aircon and heating throughout. A roaring open fire place for you to enjoy during winter and electric blankets on every bed except top bunks! A great place to stay for graduating HMAS families. Maximum of 8 adults please (and up to 4 children) Please note, a bond of $500 will be collected prior to check-in. Your bond will be returned subject to adhering to house rules.

Rated as one of the best suburbs of Mon Pen, peaceful Somers is a great base to explore the sights of MP. Walk down to the quiet & dog friendly beach (8 minute walk), grab a delicious breakfast & coffee at the Somers General, dine in style at Tulum village in Balnarring, and return to a cosy, well appointed and pet friendly 3 bedroom house to rest & recharge! MP is buzzing all year with amazing wineries, restaurants, markets & activities like cherry and strawberry picking.

Somers Cottage Studio - where vines meet bay

Opened in March 2021 this lovingly styled Studio is a 200m walk to the 100 Steps Beach access. Enjoy the nourishing sounds & and smells of nature surrounding this seaside haven. The local birdlife, koalas, dolphins and more are a highlight. We love the way farms & vineyards roll to the shores of Western Port Bay, perfect for beach mornings and winery afternoons. The Studio, it's outdoor shower & patio area are for guests exclusive use, and we're mindful of our guests privacy.

Somers Peninsula Retreat,

7.5 hectare property with main house and self contained purpose built 1 bedroom cottage with queen size bed, bathroom with spa overlooking private garden with water feature, lounge, dining and kitchen with breakfast hamperon arrival, veranda front and back overlooking paddocks and dam, car port. Property has a push button farm gate at entrance. There are bikes to ride and the dam is stocked with fish. Silver Perch and Trout bring your own fishing rod.

The Barn, beautiful & private, Balnarring

The Barn at Summersdale Located in Balnarring on the Mornington Peninsula, this exquisitely finished barn conversion is the perfect couples' retreat. Just a 3-4 min drive to Balnarring and Merricks beaches plus wonderful Peninsula vineyards, the Barn is the ideal location from which to explore. Or if you're looking to relax just sit back and enjoy.. cathedral ceilings, beautiful interior and north facing, private outdoor entertaining area.
