Fish directly from the dock, or launch your boat at the public boat launch which is nearby. Kayak or paddle boat in scenic cove. Swim in the clear cool waters. Create fantastic meals for your family in the full kitchen and outdoor cooking equipment. Stay warm using our wood and gas firepits.

"Bucking Bull Bunkhouse" on Bucking Bull Farm

Experience this "ole" west one of a kind cabin and go back in time to the early 1900s. Take a soaking bath in the cowboy brothel type tub. Get a laugh seeing a recreated outhouse bathroom but with a modern toilet. Enjoy eating on a chuck wagon tabletop. Additionally, sit by an open firepit and make complimentary s'mores all while gazing at the galaxy of stars, watching the wildlife, and viewing our cattle during the day. Molly our gentle jersey may even let you pet her at the fenceline.

It will sleep up to 12 with an all glass window view overlooking Lake Claiborne on the north side of the lake. About 45 minutes from Shreveport/Bossier City, our lake house is located on a quiet curve of Lake Bistineau, known for its Spanish Moss-draped cypress trees and lovely sunsets. Please note that the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries has begun the annual drawdown to try to control the giant Sylvania weed. We can always see water from our property, but the water’s edge is out past the trees. Great for a walk in the lakebed! also, please check out our neighboring property, Shades of Blue!

This historic home is on Broadway making it easy to get to everything in Minden! Walkable to downtown churches, stores, coffee shops and restaurants! The rich history makes your stay memorable too! Dr. Milton Richardson owned this home from 1963-1989 during which time he, along with his brother, Tom and father Sam, also doctors, started the Minden Medical Center, just a short walk down the street! Dr. Milton’s granddaughter, Liz, now owns the home and is your Superhost!

450 square foot Waterfront cabin on lake Claiborne 5 miles from downtown homer la. Fishing/ boat dock located on the property for guest use. There is a community boat launch adjacent to property. There is an additional cabin on the property that sleeps 6 that can be rented separately. This cottage started out as a snow cone stand built in Ruston Louisiana that was moved to Lake Claiborne in 2020 and was stripped down to the studs and turned into a 1 bedroom tiny home.

Easy to access the cabin for people who have trouble with steps. There is only one step up from ground level into the cabin.
