Bjarmaland - A Cozy Blue House near the Ocean

Bjarmaland is an old stonehouse in Hvammstangi. It's a small house, about 55m2 and has three floors with two rooms on the ground floor; Bathroom and Kitchen, the entrance at the first floor, and a cozy Bedroom/Living room on the second floor. Only 1 minute walk to the Supermarket, the Tourist Information Center, Icelandic Seal Center and the restaurant in the town; Sjávarborg. The kitchen and living-room are in the same space where you have two beds, a sleeping sofa and a wonderful view of the sunset or the northern lights - if you're lucky. Eyri Seaside Houses is a cozy, warm and new guesthouse with a great ocean view on our small horse farm. We usually have horses at home, and if you like, you can contact us and we’ll let you pet them with us! We’re located in Hvammstangi but still very private, with only the ocean and landscape in view. There are a lot of birds at the beach, and there’s even a chance to spot seals. Occasionally whales enter the fjord, but you’ll need a lucky day to see them.

You are also free to take walk around our land, as long as you are not walking on our hay fields.

During the summertime a gas grill will be placed on the summer deck which you can use. it‘s just about 5 minutes walk to a swimming pool and just about 2 minutes walk to the grocery store and liquor store. In the same neighborhood is e.g. the Icelandic Seal Center and the wonderful restaurant Sjávarborg.
