Old Town Lake Retreat

Take it easy at this secluded, waterfront cabin near beautiful Magnolia Beach. Fish or launch kayaks from your front yard. This rustic property is located down a dirt road that can be very difficult to access when it rains a lot. 4x4 vehicles recommend. During dry times, the road is fine. Wildlife of all kinds are sometimes seen, many species of birds, bobcat, deer, and sometimes snakes. Alligators live in Old Town Lake, much like any body of water in South Texas. Swimming not recommended.

Blue Crab Cottage

Welcome to the Blue Crab Cottage. Built in 2024, the Blue Crab Two replaces our beloved original Blue Crab. Your days will start with colorful Matagorda Bay sunrises and equally spectacular Powder horn Lake sunsets. The 360 degree views from the crow's-nest, are a favorite for bird and dolphin watching. Fish the bay out front or lake in the back. Just a few yards away, the Indianola Courthouse monument and Cistern monument are remainders of the catastrophic hurricanes of historic Indianola.

The small waterfront cabin is on an elevated point overlooking beautiful Matagorda Bay and has its own private, lighted fishing pier. Redfish, Speckled Trout, Drum, crabs and other saltwater fish are abundant around the pier. Dolphins, birds and other sea creatures are everywhere. Ocean going ships navigate the ship channel. Salt air, ocean breezes, gentle waves and star filled nights are the ultimate stress reliever.

The Redfish Spot

Come and enjoy endless Kayak trails. The fishing is always good as our facility is private to our guest. We have a Rec Center with shuffle board and entertainment area. Fish Cleaning station, Boat Ramp and boat Slips. We are 2 miles from Magnolia Beach and the Indianola Fishing Marina. The Cabin has a Queen size bed and Futon with a blow up air mattress if needed. We host two Golf Cart Parades each year, The Saint Patrick's Day Parade and the Fourth Of July Parade.

Mag Beach Refuge - Bayfront

Water Front Oasis with amazing views of Lavaca Bay. Pristine ground level home, with high ceilings, open floor plan, comfortable beds, fiber WiFi and fully equipped kitchen. Walking distance to the public beach, boat ramp and "The Crabbing Bridge" one of our area's favorite fishing spot. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay near the bay. Located a short 2 minute drive to froggies public boat ramp and less than 10 minutes to king fisher beach. This cozy beach house sits on a large lot with plenty of parking for multiple vehicles or boats. The quite neighborhood lets you enjoy time outside while you grill your catch of the day or enjoy a nice family movie on the comfortable sectional inside.

Las Casitas on Magnolia Beach - Casita B

Las Casitas on Magnolia Beach is a Waterfront Chalet style Duplex that holds two different Casitas that our guests can rent individually or together (if both are available). They have two separate listings to identify them for renting purposes, Casita A and Casita B. This listing is to rent Casita B, a one bedroom condo with amazing views and access to a lighted fishing pier.
