Immerse yourself in nature as you enjoy a magical forest getaway nestled in the beautiful Cascade mountains! This is a perfect stop off of I-5 during a road trip, or to enjoy a peaceful woodland getaway. Our property has multiple sets of steps, and uneven, rocky terrain, so the property is not suitable for individuals with any mobility issues or young children.

Ruby Fox River Retreat is a cozy, tidy, upstairs studio with kitchenette in a serene rural setting right on the Applegate River. The studio has a bedroom with comfy queen bed, bathroom, living/dining area and balcony with a sitting area. The kitchenette has a fridge, microwave, toaster oven, dishes and everything to make your morning coffee or tea. As our guest you also have access to the lower part of the property across the lane for river access and picnicking in a park-like setting.

Guest room is detached from main house and has half bath with shower. Wet bar has microwave, small fridge and place settings for two. Short drive to hiking/mt bike trails in Cathedral Hills; close to Applegate vineyards and to downtown restaurants! We are an active family who enjoy our yard and open our home to meet new friends. If you are looking for complete perfection and no interaction we might not be your place! Otherwise we can’t wait to meet you! We are pet friendly with a $10 fee.

Solitude Casita on Rogue River

The separate and private Solitude Casita is located approximately 4 miles Northwest of downtown Grants Pass in Southern Oregon. Our home is directly on the banks of the Rogue River. We are located a short drive from great destinations: wineries, Oregon Caves, Hellgate Jet Boats, the City of Grants Pass, and Crater Lake. We are a non-smoking property. Sorry we do not allow animals. You will not be sharing the Casita . The river is a short walk from the Casita. Casita has garden views.
