Cozy apartment & sauna in the center of Saariselkä

Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

Peaceful log cabin by the lake Inari

Come to relax for Metsola. Very peaceful log accommodation located next to the lake Inari. Main building, sauna room, hut and storage. A parking lot and pier at lake. Dry toilet away from main building, no running water but in summer a tube from the spring. 12V electricity from the battery for lighting and usb-charging. If necessary, 230V electricity with generator. The kitchen has a gas stove and a 12V refrigerator or a small gas refrigerator. The cabin is heated with a fireplace and stove.

Nice apartment and meeting with happy reindeer

The apartment is renovated in the year 2017 and it is a part of the bigger building. It is located 400 meters from our home ( and the lake), 18 km from Inari (nearest grocery and restaurants) and 350 km from Rovaniemi. In the apartment you will find all normal facilities and sauna. This is a good place to see Northern Lights and beautiful nature is around you here. If you are interested to see how people really live in Lappland, but you also appreciate your own peace, this place is for you.

Koselig hytte på veien til North Cape

Velkommen til hytta vår, som ligger i et rolig område ved en innsjø. Hytta har utsikt over innsjøen, og en kan oppleve nordlys og midnattssol fra stuevinduet. Området har varierte muligheter for hiking, friluftsliv og opplevelser hele året. Spør oss gjerne om tips :) OBS! Sovehemsen er delvis åpen, og egner seg ikke for små barn. Små barn kan bruke soverom, sovesofa i stua, eller en flyttbar gulvmadrass. Hytta har en varmtvannstank på 120 liter, det er varmtvann til 3 - 4 personer.

Notre camp se trouve à proximité d'Inari, au cœur de 14 hectares privés, isolé au milieu de milliers d'hectares de forêt boréale, sur le territoire des éleveurs de rennes, les Sami. Un endroit préservé, à l'écart du monde, idéal pour se ressourcer, vivre un séjour hors du commun et hors réseau. Wilderness cabin with sauna on river island

Cosy log cabin in Ivalojoki river with all amenities needed for a comfortable and adventurous stay: please read the full description before booking! The cabin lies on an island, the last part needs to be walked over the ice (safe from mid-December till April) or rowed with our small rowing boat (included). A cabin for those who want to cocoon surrounded by nature, gaze at northern lights undisturbedly, discover untouched snowy forests on snowshoes (included) and sleep in absolute silence.

Private paradise(smoke sauna experience extra fee)

This cottage might look too good to be true - but it's real! Our log cabin called Savu is located just next to the beautiful, rocky, fishy and pure lake Ukko as you can see in pictures. Savu is furnished with style by Finnish design. You can chill along fireplace and check aurora borealis from your own pier. Savu has also an exotic smoke sauna in the same building what you can also rent for an extra fee. Hot tube is also possible to rent. Ice swimming is possible as well.

Trivelig hytte ved Nattvann

Hytta ligger 200 m fra felles parkeringsplass. Det er hytte med strøm og 3 soverom. Hytta er romslig og familievennlig. Det er ikke innlagt vann, men det blir satt vann i dunker. Har utedo. Nattvann består av flere gode fiskevann hvor det blant annet fiskes abbor i fin størrelse. Flott område for deg som liker jakt, fiske og bærplukking. Det er mulighet å booke scootertur (ekstra kostnad) for å besøke en reinflokk i nærheten av hytta. Dette gjelder fra januar-april.

Leppälän vanhatupa rantasaunalla

Koski näkymä erittäin hienolla paikalla ainutlaatuinen, rantasauna koskenrannalla. Viehekalastus mahdollisuus viereisessä joessa erillisellä maksullisella luvalla, 1.5 km Kevon vaellusreitin päästä, 5 km säteellä erittäin hyviä rautu pilkkijärviä, Soutuveneen käyttö mahdollista lähijärvellä, erämaa kämppä myös vuokrattavissa kysymällä lisää.
