Located approximately 1.5 hours from Toronto, this cottage is the perfect place for families and friends to escape the hustle and bustle, relax and unwind.

You will feel like you're a thousand miles from Toronto. Your own private space with several ponds for swimming, gazebo, fire pits, running water, hot shower, mtn bike and hiking trails. With 300 acres at your door step, you can choose not to see another soul during your stay or venture to a nearby winery, restaurants, shopping, horse farms, golf courses or ski hills! We are just 1 hour from Toronto with easy access off the 407. We also have an amazing log cabin for rent on the same 300 acres.

Relax & BBQ on comfortable deck w/ beautiful lake views and table to seat 6. Enjoy the fire-pit on the Muskoka Chairs. Important Note: Dock is usually ready for first week of May every year. Could be earlier depending on the weather. Also the City of Kawartha Lakes has a NO BONFIRE ban during April each year. So please do not do a BONFIRE.

Are you looking for some nature therapy? You'll be nestled in several acres of forest, where you can hear the birds and enjoy the private backyard. The hot tub and campfire* beckon in all seasons, and the heated inground pool is open from mid-June to Labour Day each year. We are dog friendly, but cannot accept other pets due to allergies. Lower level suite with private entrance includes one separate bedroom, one bed with room divider in the living area, plus a full bath, and kitchen facilities. Once called the "United Nations of birds", we are just a short drive from public beaches, lakes, the Victoria Rail Trail, and Monck's Landing Golf Course (stay and play package available). Nature enthusiasts welcome. We offer a large campsite complete with dock on a private nature reserve. Stay in a converted/restored century tourist cabin/hunt camp on the edge of Provincially Significant Wetlands & Woodlands and overlook 5 pristine acres of wetlands off the Pigeon River in the heart of the Kawarthas. All this is set on a 55 acre organic farm. We have a 10 kw solar panel, native plant nursery as well as heritage breed cattle, turkeys and chickens.

Cheerful Two Bedroom Cottage On The River!

Walking/biking trails one minute away!! Enjoy your days swimming, fishing, kayaking (2 adult and 2 kids kayaks available)or canoeing or head down to the ATV/ Snowmobile trails nearby (1 minute away) for some biking and your evenings can be spent sitting by the fire , soaking in the hot tub or having fun in the game room! If you’re looking for some shopping and dining Fenelon Falls or Coboconk is only 10 to 15 minutes away. Lindsay and Bobcaygeon also nearby .

The Little Hilltop Bunkie

Stay off-grid in an Amish built bunkie on top of a hill with the best south facing view in the area! Disconnect from your busy life and enjoy the country side. There is no wifi but cellular reception is good depending on your provider. There is an outhouse with compost toilet near the bunkie. There is no shower or sink. Enjoy the country and let nature do that talking! Pets are very welcome! Enjoy the trails and walk your dog(s) off leash.

For snowmobiling, you can jump on the 310 or E108 OFSC Trail.
