In between, spend the day on the lake in your private sandy cove with dock, fishing, hiking or relaxing. Three mile lake road for walking or biking. The area offers many hiking trails and Mt. Monadnock only 30 minutes away. Small convenience store offers basic amenities while Keene’s many shops and restaurants are only 15 minutes away.

We welcome hikers, nature lovers, those visiting friends or family or just wanting to enjoy the area's beautiful scenery and many artistic venues. This cabin retreat is situated on a natural clearing in the beautiful Green Mt. Forrest. Surrounded by a dense grove of spruce trees gives you complete privacy. It's only a quick 5 minute drive to great restaurants, breweries, and shops in downtown Wilmington. It's also less than 20 minutes to Mt. Snow. There's great hiking at Molly Stark State Park right across the street and amazing lakes all within a 10 minute drive! No WIFI and cell service is not great so it is a great place to unplug!

The Library: Seasonal Stays

The Library is a two bedroom home with a granite kitchen, laundry, and a full and a half bathroom. It features thousands of books across many genres, from poetry to fiction. So if you like the smell of an old bookstore then this is the place for you! The steps to the second floor are very steep and narrow. The cottage is within walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Central Square Keene. Great place to get away to, or work from home with our Spectrum provided fast wifi internet.

Nestled within the woods of Stoddard, NH, Rocky Ledge is a year-round family getaway. Our cozy log cabin has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a lower-level family room perfect for relaxing. Enjoy outdoor dining on the large 3-sided deck, and cap off your days with s'mores sessions at the fire pit! Boating, hiking, swimming, and skiing are minutes away. Or, get cozy indoors and enjoy movies, puzzles, and games. Rocky Ledge is pet-friendly! We welcome up to two dogs with a flat $50 pet fee.

The Brick House on Washington Street

Three guest bedrooms in a Colonial home on Washington Street make a great launchpad for visitors to Keene. From here, it's a pleasant walk or drive to Downtown restaurants, the theatre and shops. The Sterling family has owned this pretty place since 1982 and a design studio operates in the barn portion of the space. The open living room with TV and original fireplace adjoin a "tea room" with a bright bay window. Family chef-approved, guests are welcome to use the spacious kitchen.

Swiss Chalet Family Retreat!

Welcome to our family's Swiss style chalet! Inspired by trips to Davos, Switzerland, my grandparents built the chalet in the 1950s to be a family playhouse and gathering spot for their 6 children. It's kind of magical. Today, our large extended family still enjoys holiday celebrations here every year. Our kids love exploring the woodland trails and swimming in Center Pond. We hope you love it as much as we do! Note: the building also has two apartments on the first floor.
