The Lodge on Pine Ridge will give you a taste of nature without sacrificing comfort. With 50 acres to yourself, you can enjoy quiet morning walks on the grounds or an evening campfire. Outdoor adventures abound: you are just minutes from the Allegheny River, Emlenton bike trailhead & Cook Forest State Park. Just a 10-minute drive up river you'll find the quaint town of Foxburg, home of the Allegheny Grill, Foxburg Wine Cellars and Divani Chocolatier and coffee bar. Come, enjoy beautiful PA!

Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

There's a hot tub to relax in after biking (Rails to Trails bike trail), kayaking (2 available), hiking, fishing, playing (playground in the yard), shooting (.22 range in the back yard), or swimming (in the river or local waterfall) all day. Great for families or friend getaways. A home away from home, everything you need, and more for an escape to the woods.

Sweet Solitude

Are you needing a place to forget the hustle of life to focus on what’s important? Sweet solitude provides a quiet, romantic getaway for you and your bestie to enjoy the beauty of nature! Our cabin is locally sourced. The timbers were sawed at a local hemlock mill. The exterior is made of boards we had milled from old pines along US Hwy 322. Even the stones we laid for the fireplace once splashed in a local creek.
