Taigh Mòr traditional croft house, Isle of Lewis

This traditional croft house is located in the idyllic village of Valtos on the Isle of Lewis, offering stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, beautiful Hebridean white-sand beaches, rich history and abundant wildlife, this peaceful location is perfect for walking, surfing, fishing, or simply enjoying the scenery. The house has been in our family for over 100 years and holds many happy memories, come and experience the unique beauty of life in the Hebrides.

Otter Bothy

Otter Bothy is a small, self contained cabin right on the banks of West Loch Roag, in the village of Carishader, perfectly situated for wildlife, fishing, walking, cycling, surfing and kayaking. Otter Bothy is situated beside Otter Bunkhouse, but offers private accommodation in a small but very cosy cabin, with spectacular views across West Loch Roag. At only a few metres from the shoreline, there aren't many places as close to the water as this! The minimum stay is 2 nights. No dogs.

Kneep Cottage - a cosy cottage beside the beach

Kneep Cottage is a quirky and colourful "home from home" set a hundred metres through a wildflower field from a white sandy beach. Its location on the picturesque Valtos peninsula makes it ideal for families, couples and friends to explore a special corner of the Outer Hebrides. In summer, guests can enjoy daylight past midnight. In winter, its the perfect spot to storm watch. A creative's paradise - longer stays can be arranged. Owners of well behaved dogs will love it here too.

Described by The Times as 'the ultimate Hebridean hideaway', The Happy Bishop is a striking, contemporary and energy efficient home in a dramatic setting. Remote, wild and peaceful. Nature in abundance. The open plan living and dining room is the focal area of the house with stunning views and sliding doors opening on to a decked balcony. A partly screened platform at one end of the room is an office/chill out space. Books, games and yoga mats are for guest's use. Relax and recharge.

"Sandig" Cosy 1 bedroom Log Cabin Dog Friendly

'Sandig' is a cosy 1 bedroom log cabin in a prime location to explore the historic attractions of the westside of Lewis. Located in close proximity to the Hebridean Way, Sandig is ideal as a base to visit such sites as the Callanish Stones, Garenin Blackhouses and Doune Carloway Broch. Carloway is also home to two stunning beaches, Dal Mor and Dal Beag, and is ideal for hillwalkers, cyclists, surfers, birdwatchers, or even those looking for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.

Heron's View

Heron's View is a lovely, light, airy, spacious and well presented glamping pod. It has all you need for a comfortable stay from a well kitted out kitchen, bathroom with full size shower to a comfortable sitting area. It has a double bed and the sofa converts to a double bed. It benefits from underfloor heating. It has an unique position with an uninterrupted view of the sea and surrounding landscape. It takes its name from the two Heron's that nest on the island opposite the pod.

The Mangersta Pod

When you arrive at The Mangersta Pod you will find yourself in an extremely clean and comfortable haven. To ensure you have a good night's sleep the camping mattresses were replaced by a comfortable mattress right from the start. Situated in the village of Mangersta on the Atlantic coast of Lewis, the pod is a few minutes walk away from a remote beach and stunning cliff walks. This is an area of exceptional natural beauty with over 20 beaches as well as beautiful moorland and lochs.

Loch View: Cabin beside Dun Broch/Pet Friendly

Loch View (and it's neighbour, Broch View) is a new log cabin well-appointed to a high standard right beside the Dun Carloway broch, in the heart of the West side of Lewis attractions of Callanish Standing Stones, Garenin Blackhouse Village, the spectacular Dalmore and Dalbeg beaches,etc. It has all you need for a comfortable stay from a well fitted kitchen, bathroom with full size shower, double bed, and a comfortable sitting area. The cabin sits in a beautiful and historic area.

Taigh Glas Studio

Welcome back to Taigh Glas Studio. Taigh Glas, situated in Lochbay, Waternish, a natural heritage peninsula, overlooks the ocean, the Stein Waterfront and sunsets over the Western Isles. The house is a short walk from Lochbay Michelin star Restaurant and Stein Inn, and along the road from Skye Skyns and their yurt with coffee and home made cakes. It’s centrally situated for all of Skye’s iconic sights such as Storr, Quiraing, Fairy Pools and Fairy Glen.

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery is a green roofed, original wooden round house with picture windows giving an uninterrupted view of the sea across to the Isle of Scalpay and South East Harris. Features include a central dome roof window, a bath room, a kitchen, comfortable chairs and a wood burning stove, and of course a double bed. The property enjoys a southerly aspect with masses of natural light, is well insulated, warm and cosy

Tigh na Beart is a cosy all year round retreat

Lovely new modern cottage in rural crofting community west coast of the Isle of Lewis, Scotland, UK. It is situated in a quiet neighbourhood. The gaelic language is spoken in the village. There is a Harris Tweed mill in the village. There are lots of lovely sandy beaches near the cottage, one within a 10 to 15 minute walk depending on your ability. Other lovely beaches within a short driving distance from cottage.
