The Appleton Retreat is a short scenic drive to Belfast, Camden and Rockland. Braeburn at The Appleton Retreat is down a 1/2 mile driveway, on 120 acres of private land, bordered by a 1,300 acre Nature Conservancy reserve. A 25 minute trail leads to a large secluded pond, perfect for a refreshing swim. Braeburn feels like a treehouse, with expansive windows, overlooking woods and wildlife. After a hike, grilling on the porch or dinner out, indulge in your private therapeutic year round hot tub.

nice little cottage in Dark Harbor, near to everything. queen bed, so sleeps up to two in a quiet location for short or medium term stays. most reasonable amenities provided; hiking or social recommendations are available on request. (Wi-Fi speed excellent, though I was not able to use AirB&B's official Wi-Fi measurement option.) *Please be aware, we are on an island, which must be accessed by boat or ferry, so service can be interrupted. there's a gym at the Community Center, $10/day pass.

Our off-the-grid, solar-powered cottage is nestled within our 18 acres in the town of Washington, Maine. The cottage borders a beautiful stream, is surrounded by tall pines and is several hundred feet away from our home, providing a very private and serene experience. Guests can wander or snowshoe on our property, relax in the screen house next to the cottage or hang by the accessible fire pit. We are close to many local lakes and hiking trails and only 30 minutes from Camden & Rockland.

It sits on 260 feet of privately owned tidal salt water river frontage just miles upriver from the Atlantic Ocean. Great for a romantic get away or to reconnect and recharge. Spend your time on the shore or sight seeing in the near by towns of Rockland and Camden

Take it easy at this getaway with a recliner sofa on the patio by the sea. The king suite is everything one needs to unwind. Nestled beside sandy beach park, on the walking trail, boardwalk and beach. Easy walk to downtown. We have two friendly dogs who hang out most of the time in the yard. They love to sit with our guests. Heat pump for heat & air conditioning.

"The Lair" Guesthouse

"The Lair" is a just recently renovated small 200 square foot cabin with vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural sunlight. The building is located close to Green Tree Coffee and Tea, a coffee roaster, so the aroma of coffee will be in the air. We located about 400 yards South of the Islesboro Ferry and Lincolnville Beach and 2.4 milres North of Camden Hills State Park and Mount Battie. Free coffee and tea everyday, all day! We are closed for Winter, will re-open Mid-April. Thank you.

Once a working dairy farm, this property includes the original post and beam barn, our new family home, and your private cottage with separate entrance and outdoor patio. We are centrally located just a short scenic drive to Camden, Rockport, Rockland & Belfast. Here, you'll wake up to the birds singing and a herd of deer out your window.

A tiny guest house (450 sq ft) overlooking the Benjamin River. AC!!. Enjoy a cup of coffee on your private porch. Living area has a smart tv (no cable, but internet available to access your streaming account). DVD's also available. Kitchenette comes with Keurig with k-cups included, mini fridge, coffee maker/filters, toaster oven, microwave, 2 burner hot plate (no oven), dishes/pots and pans. There is a loft with an army cot. Not suitable for children under age 5.
