If you're up for a little adventure, you can get downtown / Congress Bridge by kayak (25 min depending on wind) Ride Sharing: Ride Austin, Fasten, Fare, Wings Bike Rental: Green Frog (weekly, daily); Red Bike stands Bus: #17 bus to the convention center; #22 goes cross town to Mopac Walking distance from Rainey Street, Cesar Chavez, East 6th Street, and just over a mile to downtown & the convention center This is our beautiful, newly built home. Escape to this private studio, detached from our main home. The Lady Bird Lake hike & bike trail is right outside, where you can use our bikes, paddleboards, and kayaks. Open the blackout cellular shades to feel suspended among the trees & see Monk parakeets, and many other birds. This studio makes excellent use of the space above our 2-car garage with an elegant bathroom, organic mattress, & butcher block countertops. 2G Google Fiber wifi It's tight for 3 or 4 people.

Johnson Creek Cabin

The Johnson Creek Cabin is a guest house that sits at the back of same property as my home in the heart of central Austin. The main house is called “Upson House” and is also available for rent through Airbnb. The location is within walking distance of Zilker Park (ACL), many fine restaurants, shopping, downtown, public transportation, and yet is secluded enough to provide an unforgettable experience that includes much of the best of what makes Austin great.
