Harbour House

Fun and funky artists cottage with oceanfront, and panoramic views of Ladysmith Harbour and Woodley Range Ecological Reserve. Watch otters, seals and blue Herons as you sip your morning coffee on the covered deck. Use the 2 sit on top Kayaks and paddle board, included with your stay, to explore the harbour and the small islands across from the house. We live here and our home is compliant with the laws and bylaws for our area. There is a full kitchen and open, spacious dining and living areas.

Carriage house on the rock!

Carriage House on the Rock is a two minute walk to Westwood Lake Park that offers world-class mountain bike trails and hiking. A cozy one bedroom carriage house that is fully appointed. A 6km walk around the lake, or if you are feeling adventurous, a 3 hour hike up Mount Benson and its amazing views are nearby. Only three km to downtown, & float planes to Vancouver. Walking distance to VIU, Aquatic Center, and Nanaimo Ice Center. We are centrally located but offer a quiet remote getaway.

Seawall Getaway

Private, self contained space available for 1 person or 1 couple in a remodeled character home. Five minute drive to Departure Bay ferry (or 15-20 min walk); 15 minute walk along beautiful seawall, (directly across the street and down the hill), to seaplanes and downtown, where you'll find shopping, the Nanaimo Art Gallery, Nanaimo Museum, The Port Theatre, Nanaimo Conference Centre, as well as several restaurants, coffee shops, and pubs. Low ceiling beams alert! No Smoking on the property😊

Cowichan Bay View Getaway

Take a break to unwind in beautiful Cowichan Bay on Vancouver Island - about a 40 minute drive from Victoria BC. Our renovated (in June 2023) suite is at the end of a no-through road and is only a 5-10 minute walk into the village to a fabulous, organic craft bakery, artisan shops, restaurants, a museum, a pub, a small grocery/liquor store and a popular ice cream/candy store. (Seasonal) kayak/paddle-board rentals & whale watching excursions for hire. Cowichan District Hospital 15 min drive.

Featuring 2 bedrooms, 2 renovated baths, a fully equipped kitchen and large deck, you'll be so relax you won't want to go anywhere...unless it's to the beach! Launching your kayak, SUP or just a nice dip is only 5 mins walk. If you don't mind a drive there are also many provincial parks nearby for hiking.

Ladysmith Comfort

Our approx. 600 sq. ft. suite is on the lower level of our home. We offer a private entrance, one private bedroom, a private bath( with shower, toilet and sink/vanity), microwave oven, fridge, eating and relaxing areas, large tv, wifi and the use of a private patio, small lawn area and barbeque. Parking is available for one regular size vehicle. No smoking or partying. No pets. Please be advised that we are not set up for infants or children so the suite is for adults only.

Oceanfront Studio with Hot Tub

We're located oceanfront in beautiful Maple Bay near biking/hiking trails, Maple Bay beach, pubs and restaurants. This cozy Studio offers stunning views and is complete with a kitchenette, full-piece bathroom and a hot tub. Suite has its own private entrance. Kitchenette is equipped with a small fridge, induction stove top, convection oven/microwave/air fryer. Coffee and tea are provided. Please note: Driveway is sloped, with set of stairs to Guest Suite.

Excellent walkability - Kin Beach, the Chemainus Theatre and many shops and restaurants are only a block or two away.

Please note that there is wi-fi at the cabin but no cell reception on the property, and many guests have mentioned that they’ve enjoyed the chance to unplug and connect with nature.
