The open floor plan features a fully equipped kitchen, spacious dining area, and a cozy living room that leads to a sunroom, ideal for extra guests. Relax by the wood-burning stove on chilly nights. The main floor has a king-size bedroom, plus a second floor loft space with a 2 full-size beds and a queen bed. Couch also pulls out to a bed! Take a step back in time and enjoy this unique and tranquil getaway. Red Pine Cabin is secluded and set back 3 acres along the drive. Although there isn't much room to roam on the property itself, there is access to the Pere Marquette Rail Trail only a short drive North. The cabin is just off the highway in farm country, and is described as peaceful with a cozy interior. You may however hear some road noise if you are relaxing outside. The small town of Barryton is located a mile to the South

The house sits on a double lot overlooking 120' of the Tittabawassee River. Close to 5 area wedding venues! Easy access off M-61 on a paved road. Currently we enjoy the natural flow of the Tittabawassee River but please note that there no good access point to get on/in the water. Restoration of the dam creating the lake is estimated to be complete in 2026.

The cabin has NO ELECTRICITY OR RUNNING WATER but solar lighting illuminates nicely and there are convenient private showers available offsite. Potable water provided.

After being outside all day, choose to stay home at the fully-stocked cottage to cook meals and enjoy the plethora of games and yard space. There are lots of hiking trails and we are super close to town, too! Fully renovated cottage with all the conveniences you'll need!
