Laxárdalur Cabins are located in a quiet valley in the North of Iceland, where there is no traffic, just an amazing landscape and beautiful nature all around. A family of farmers is renting out 4 modern cabins, only few meters away from the family farm and a sheep shed accommodating 300 sheep. Laxárdalur Cabins is the perfect place for peace and quiet where you are able to enjoy the sight and sounds of the beautiful river running through the valley.

The house has 6 bedrooms with two 160 cm beds, three 140 cm beds and one 130 cm bed. The kitchen is well equipped. There are two washing machines in the house and two dryers. There is a small stream in front of the house, and the house is located in a beautiful valley with a river. It takes 30 minutes to go to Húsavík, Myvatn, Dimmuborgir and it is 40 minutes drive to Akureyri. 10 people can stay in the house.

Surrounded by nature and birdlife you'll feel right at home in our cozy cabin, with a kitchen, queen size bed, full bathroom and a big hot tub. Self catering. Hot tub access. Beautiful views only few steps from the cabin. The pseudo craters in the north and the wetland and the mountains in the south and east.
