Look no further! This quaint BnB is the perfect destination for your stay in the charming town of Madisonville, LA. Located just 45 minutes away from New Orleans and one block off of the beautiful Tchefuncte riverfront, you can walk to nearby restaurants and coffee shops, retail stores, boating, festivals and more. This guest suite is located on the back side of our main house, but guests will enjoy complete privacy equipped with their own separate entrance. Come relax at "Blue Dog BnB" :)

The Balcony Suite is an intimate space with a private bathroom. It was recently Restored/Renovated with new furnishings and fixtures. Monday-Friday 8-5 we're not a quiet corner but on any night it’s relaxing, providing a restful night. Our neighbor, Race & Religious, hosts weddings with live music but never past 11PM. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee you will find free parking due to the activity of the French Quarter.

High ceilings with intricate plaster detail are featured in an antebellum mansion home built in 1851 which sits right in front of the streetcar/trolley stop. A great experience to be right there on "the Avenue" under the 250 year old oak trees. You can take our self guided walking tour through the Garden District and see one home after another built in 1800's, with names of architect (if known), year built and who lived there.
