Welcome to Lily and Greg's place. We have a self contained, upstairs apartment in a quiet location, just off the main street at the Southern entry to Rotorua. Enjoy the warm Lockwood style accommodation which has a queen size bed in the main living area and a bedroom with bunks. The open plan offers kitchen with a cook top, microwave and portable oven. A washing machine is available for guests. City centre is 2km and forest mountain bike tracks within 1km. We have a lock-up for your bikes.

We have OUR OWN PRIVATE LAKE ACCESS and can cater for boat trailers. It is a downstairs, self-contained, with its own private entrance Our location is around 18 to 20 minutes from Rotorua, the nearest supermarket for supplies is 15 minutes away, you will pass it as you drive to us from Rotorua. We don't cater for 2-10yr olds

Wytchwood Lake House - Where Time Stands Still

Wytchwood Lake House is steps away from the lake edge - just follow the wide garden path down to the water. It is comfortably furnished, with a warm, cosy fire in winter and doors opening onto both front and back decks for summer. The sheltered back deck overlooking the garden is great for outdoor dining, while the expansive front deck overlooks Lake Rotorua, giving you great sunsets and night views of the city lights. The property is a 20 min drive from the city, down a shared drive.

Guests have the entire ground floor apartment to themselves with separate entrance door and private access to courtyard and lovely garden (my husband and I live upstairs). Close to Skyline Skyride/gondola, Rainbow Springs, Mitai, Canopy Tours and other tourist spots. Free Wifi. Great heating. Cereal, Milk, fresh Plunger-coffee, Tea variety, but no-cooking facilities. Lounge opens to private garden, with outdoor table and chairs.

From the deck, you can watch the sun rise, cows grazing and sometimes in the distance White Island puff smoke off the coast. Best of all, start up a fire to heat the hot tub, keep piling on the wood and in about three hours, lie back and relax under the stunning milky way.

Simple breakfast supplied and all for a reasonable rate in quiet cul de sac street, just 20 minutes walk to town centre, or 5 min bus ride to resturants and sightseeing attractions.
