A cute little cabin for two people in a magical forest, on a private plot by a beautiful lake near by host home. A sauna is heated for guests every evening. Cabin is ideal for guests who are looking for peace and quiet and distance from the hustle and bustle of the city and the light pollution, but are within driving distance of many of the places to visit. Cabin is located about 45min drive from Rovaniemi. The cabin gives guests a peek into local lifestyle and offers authentic cabin experience

Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi , only some steps to the water (or ice in winter). Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells, marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive -with no street lights.

Minikeittiössä keittolevy, mikro, jääkaappi, vedenkeitin, leivänpaahdin ja astiat (lasit, mukit, lautaset, kahvipressot ruokailuvälineet jne.). Vieressä olevalla rantasaunalla suihkut. Kompostoiva puucee. Sauna on puulämmitteinen. Opastamme tarvittaessa saunan lämmityksessä. Käytössä kesällä ja alkusyksystä.

This is one of the best places in town to see the Aurora Borealis.Now they are at their best and you can see them just looking out of the window inside the cottage!The cottage is right next to the river Ounasjoki.The cottage is only a short distance from the city center but you will be just like different world.

Voit nauttia vain valmisaterioita. Rannalla tulipaikka/laavu käytössä. Autopaikka pihassa. Talvella jäällä voi kävellä. Lentokentälle 17 km , lähimpään City-markettiin 13 km ja keskustaan 17 km. Majoittaja asuu samassa pihassa. Vieraat saavat liikkua pihalla vapaasti. Naapureiden pihat ovat yksityisiä.

Fully equipped log cottage in Nuorgam, the northernmost village in Finland. Karetörmä has breathtaking views of River Teno. Enjoy the Northern lights show relaxing in the jacuzzi. You have privacy, but the grocery store is just 5 mins away. Enjoy the winter activities in the Arctic Tundra: cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, husky- and reindeer sledding. No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee.
