The Skewbald

The skewbald is set on an elevated site on farmland belonging to a private equestrian Property. Our vintage horse lorry has been converted into a cosy luxurious and peaceful space. It enjoys views of rural Fermanagh farmland and Cuilagh mountain. As it is on a private equestrian property it leads to the option of renting a stable and bringing your equine friend to enjoy Fermanagh on Horseback. It is a short distance from many tourist attractions, stairway to heaven, Marble Arch and others.

Located on a quiet lane surrounded by farmland with beautiful views, our cosy shepherd's hut is the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring or a night out in town. We are only a 10 mins drive from Cork City Centre, so you can enjoy great food and pints and then come back to a cosy home. Blarney Castle and Gardens (10 mins), beautiful beaches like Inch Beach in County Cork (40 mins), the Jameson Experience Midleton (15 mins) are some of the many beautiful places nearby.

Come relax in our wood fired hot tub in the peaceful country side and enjoy the tranquility. Within a 2 minute drive of Carrybridge a local tourist hot spot and only a 20 minute drive to the famous stair way of heaven board walk. The Hut is a short 10 minute drive to the historic island town of Enniskillen which has a lot to offer.
