One of a five cottage barn conversion adjacent to the host's home set amidst the beautiful Shropshire Hills and border Marches, on the edge of the Downton Castle Estate and Mortimer Forest, with walks and cycling from the doorstep. The central location is an ideal base for exploring the local area, further afield, or simply relaxing in the courtyard gardens.

Tawny Owl Barn

Tawny Owl Barn is a 200-year-old, grade 2 listed, tastefully converted barn in the village of Leintwardine. A large garden is available for our guests which has a wildlife pond and waterfall and another barn with an open fire available for sitting around. Rooms are spacious, well furnished, and well-equipped. There is a large kitchen/diner and lounge plus two bedrooms with en-suites. A large lounge settee can also be used as a double bed. There are two pubs and shop within walking distance.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Situated on a working Organic Farm and far away from the road you'll be up in the trees where the only sound is Birdsong. Nestled in the beautiful South Shropshire Hills, on the edge of a working farm, the Stretton Pod is one of three luxury pods (view others on my profile). With plenty of scenic walks from the door, this cosy pod provides the perfect escape to relax and unwind. With 70 acres of near by orchards for you and your pets to ‘roam freely’ it’s a true feeling of the very beautiful English countryside.
