Cheese Maker's Cottage

Historical 1930's cabin. Once the home of the resident cheese maker. Restored to suit the style of the time. Situated on a cattle property in the picturesque McPherson Ranges. Has a fishing dam closeby. Sits below Mt. Edinburgh Castle. The property is part of the ancient Gondwana rain forest. From Woodenbong, take Glennie Street, becomes Boomi Creek Road, keep on the sealed road at the Brumby Creek turn. Travel a further approx 6km. Our place is not suited to young children. Enjoy the Dark Sky

A Simpler Place in Time

Restored 90 year old farm building separate from house overlooking the McPherson Ranges and Mount Barney on a 17 acre farm block with animals. Great place to stay if you are walking Mt Barney, Mt May or Mt Maroon - 40 mins drive north. The cottage can accommodate 3 people using a queen bed and a trundle bed (extra $15/night). The cottage runs on solar power (off the grid); gas cooktop; gas hot water; septic toilet; tank water and wood heater. Dean's shed is overflowing with stories and harness.

Well-appointed with split system air-con and gorgeous little pot belly stove for winter nights, Great little kitchenette with access to the rear deck complete with full size BBQ and fridge. Private undercover parking behind cottage which is off the back of Pitstop Lodge.

Outdoor wood barbeques can make a nice change to the well equipped kitchen for many guests!

Studio cabin for 2 is set on a granite outcrop on 4 acres with native fauna and flora surrounding. Enjoy the 4 seasons of the Granite Belt and local produce on offer. Stroll along a country road to visit wineries, cafes. and what the Granite Belt has to offer. For the avid cyclists, link into the Granite Belt Bike trail or just relax on the deck.

Burn Brae Sunset Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The cabin is the converted pickers quarters when the property was a stone fruit orchard in the past. Have recently planted feijoa orchard. A small and cosy space with spacious verandahs to the north and west. Situated on a quiet and private 100 acres. Abundant bird and wildlife. The cabin is self catering. Breakfast is not provided altho’ tea and coffee making facilities and basic condiments are provided.

The cottage is within a 10 min drive to 15 Wineries. 5 are James Haliday 5 star award winning wineries. All wine tours pick up at Rose Cottage There is a country PUB 5 min walk away. A local corner store and St Jude's Bistro good for coffee, breakfast, lunch Girraween National park is a 15 min drive. Sundown is a 4WD park only it 1/2 hour drive You can fish or put your boat into Storm King Dam There is also a local Golf Course

Lane’s End Cottage - cosy farm stay

Drive to the end of the lane, wend your way down the poplar lined driveway and find yourself at Lane’s End Cottage, your home away from home in Broadwater, less than ten minutes from the town of Stanthorpe. The cottage is situated on a 42 acre farm, close enough to town that you can pop in easily to enjoy cafes, festivals and a bit of shopping - but far enough away that you will feel you really have escaped to the country.

Highland Croft Cottage accommodation

The cottage offers you a fully serviced home away from home. The lounge boasts a wood heater with television and dvd player. There is also a BBQ outside with a basket breakfast included in the tariff, plus tea, coffee, milk and sugar. The master bedroom has french doors opening onto the verandah. Both rooms have cosy blankets, doonas and electric blankets. Highchair and cot available on request.
