Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

Authentic Countryhouse at the Reindeer Farm

Welcome to the wild isolation of Eastern Lapland! This country house, built in the 70s, has served as the main building of a reindeer farm, a loving home, grandma’s place, and a shelter for a bunch of cats, dogs, and motherless reindeer babies. Decades have given this house a unique character. It is located between a fish-filled pond and the River Luiro. A small village shop is approximately 2 km away. Massive reindeer herd sightings and hangouts are guaranteed in the wintertime!

Arctic Light Hut

Cabana para a aurora boreal com estrutura de madeira e teto parcialmente de vidro, construída em 2019. Perfeita para observar a aurora boreal e o céu estrelado em ambientes fechados no inverno. Telhado de vidro no lado norte. No verão, a cabana é iluminada pelo sol da noite. A cabana possui duas camas sob um teto de vidro, uma área de cozinha, um banheiro e um armário de ventilação. O teto de vidro possui aquecimento, o que a mantém iluminada apesar das condições climáticas.

Vuonna 2024 alkuvuodesta valmistunut viihtyisä, hyvin varusteltu ja moderni mökki Laanilassa noin 3 km päässä Saariselän keskustasta. Mökki sijaitsee lähellä hiihto-, pyöräily- ja ulkoilureittejä. Mökillä on yksi makuuhuone sekä tilava parvi. Mökillä majoittuu mukavasti 5 henkeä. Avarasta tupakeittiöstä on kaunis metsänäkymä. Saunaosasto on ylellinen ja moderni. Mökin pihassa on ilmainen parkkialue sekä lämpötolppa. Ulkoiluvälineille on pieni varasto.
