We are in the area of Stephenville fondly referred to as “the base”. Many original buildings survive, take a walk & follow the storyboards explaining some of the town’s colourful history. Huon House | A Remote Oceanfront Getaway

A quiet place to reset. Tucked along the windswept coast of the Port au Port Peninsula, Huon House is a modern, minimalist container home. This peaceful retreat invites you to rest, relax and reconnect. Sip coffee with an ocean view, watch the sun melt into the sea and let yourself slow down. Wi-Fi is available but can be spotty due to our remote location and limited island coverage. We recommend downloading any maps or playlists in advance and packing a good book, just in case.
