Once the original farm house for a farm, The Cottage has lots of original charms including old beams and a bread oven. Just a short walk away from the local and infamous Montagu arms pub and restaurant as well as wonderful countryside walks. The Cottage at Montagu House is a perfect getaway. We are confident that our small yet mighty space will meet your needs offering a comfy double bed, shower room, snuggly sofa and a fully fitted kitchen and inspire you on what can be created in a small space. Our cosy space is a renovated garage situated next to our house but you will have your own private entrance and lock safe. Parking is also available. Dogs are very welcome but please add them onto the booking as there is a charge .

Fermyn Woods Country Park is a short walk away, rich in flowers birds and butterflies including Hawfinches and Purple Emperor Butterflies. The area has many gastro pubs, gardens and various markets to explore. We are happy to make recommendations to suit you as well as our favourite!

If you come with your pet, the cottage comes with a small walled garden. Free Wifi and fully equipped kitchen. Lots of character with original features. Oundle is a beautiful Market town with a museum, stunning churches, wonderful shops and supermarkets, a busy market and lots of lovely coffee shops and restaurants.
