Do expect to see farm animals around🐂🐎🐑🐓especially our friendly farm dogs🐶 we are situated next to the dalesway walk route and 5 minutes from Lambrigg fell.Relax and take in the stunning views surrounded by nature sat in your own private hot tub. 1 Low Hall Beck Barn

Self contained apartment situated on a working Farm in Killington. 10 minute drive from M6 Junction 37. 4.5 miles from Sedbergh and 6.6 miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. Both of which have multiple pubs, restaurants and small shops. Perfect location for scenic walks, bike rides and visits to the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. Parking spaces for two vehicles along with an outside seating area. Self catering fully equipped Kitchen. Double bed with bedding and towels provided. No pets.

Miller's Rest

Miller’s Rest is a self-contained one bedroom cottage with private parking and 2miles from Orton, 5 miles from Shap. The cottage is peaceful with plenty of space and all modern amenities. The bespoke kitchen is well equipped, living room has a log burner effect electric fire for those colder nights. The bedroom has an ensuite shower room and large wardrobe. There is a small stream running alongside the garden lovely for sitting outside enjoying a glass of wine, relaxing and watching the birds.

Tethera Nook - a beautifully crafted retreat

Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens, it has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It's a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It is 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Rifleman's Arms.

The Nook at Newalls- luxury shepherd’s hut

Nestled in the hills 5 minutes outside Kendal, the hut sits in its own private meadow, enjoying far reaching views of the fells. Choose to hunker down in the hut with a book, play board games and unplug from the rest of the world or use it as a base to explore Kendal and the beautiful Lake District National Park. Step inside and you'll find a snug and cosy retreat with King sized bed, log burner and underfloor heating. Outside, enjoy the dark skies from the patio and the private fire pit area.

The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.

It makes the perfect place for a break, just at the end of Main Street - so within a few strides of the local shops, some great eateries, pubs and of course, the foot of Winder hill.

Converted Barn, Patterdale in the Lake District

Welcome to Crook a Beck Barn, Patterdale a former Cart Barn which we lovingly restored during 2017. The Barn is located on the original coach road in the hamlet of Crook a Beck, next to the village of Patterdale, in the heart of the Lake District, in one of the most beautiful Lake District valleys. During peak season - April to the end of October, 7 nights minimum stay with a Friday changeover. Short breaks may be available so please drop us a message to ask!
