Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. May's is one of two fully self-contained apartments within this building. Each apartment has it's own entrance and you can enjoy your exclusive outside stone bath, relax in front of the indoor fireplace, cuddle up on the king-sized bed or veg out in the hammock. This beautiful bushland property has high-tide access to Moreton Bay, is 10 minutes drive from Straddie's beaches and 15 minutes from Brown Lake. You'll feel like you're in another world.

Dugong Place is a comfortable, unpretentious, three bedroom home, on beautiful Macleay Island. Located a five-minute walk from the ferry & barge terminal. Includes private jetty, large deck with big views to Karragarra, Lamb & North Stradbroke Islands, as well as complimentary kayaks (bring your own life jackets), for guest use. An ideal location for a romantic getaway, exploring the Southern Moreton Bay Isles, or aquatic activities. Dugong Place is a genuine retreat and home away from home.

Yet we are on a fully cleared, quiet acreage block which boasts beautiful gardens and a dam which is a haven for all birdlife including our pet geese - a bird watchers paradise. As our guests you are invited to stroll through our extensive gardens and if you wish sit around a large firepit with wood supplied from our property.

Discover your perfect island getaway in our self-contained studio unit, boasting breathtaking water views and mesmerising sunsets. This beautiful abode is perched high on a hill overlooking Moreton Bay and its surrounds. With a stylish coastal interior, the unit offers a unique and comfortable open plan living space where you can sit back and relax and watch the ever changing colours of the bay, with a private well equipped kitchenette, bathroom, open plan living space and deck area.

Resthaven Beachside Stay - Lamb Island, Southern Morton Bay Do nothing but relax and enjoy the view, the birds, the sea, walks, swim, eat, drink, relax and unwind. Our club is close, and pubs, clubs and restaurants on nearby islands. Enjoy the sea (including kayaks) from our lawn at high tide, bicycles, and a spa-pool on request. The suite includes a queen bed (only), sea views, a kitchen, bathroom and an outside patio overlooking the bay. There is aircon. No cleaning fee.

Cotton Tree Cottage: City escape

Cotton Tree Cottage is a recently renovated family holiday home with a unique and wonderfully spacious feel. The wrap around verandah provides the best of outdoor Queensland living overlooking mangroves, and at high tide, lapping water at the garden edge. This is an ideal location for a relaxing break from city living offering spaces for writing, reading and relaxing. Water access for those keen on kayaking and a wonderful fishing spot 250 meters down the road at Corroboree Park.

The haven

This unique place has a style all its own. Finished a year ago it offers a haven from the busyness of life on the mainland and in cities anywhere. Somewhere to relax and clear the mind, somewhere to be in touch with nature, to be surrounded by the beauty of Moreton bay. Please note the second bedroom has three walls and a privacy screen as shown in the photos. It does provide visual privacy but is not a floor to ceiling wall. The entire lower floor of our house is yours to enjoy and just a step outside your door is a sandy beach! No roads to cross or parks to walk through, the beach is literally a step away. If a quiet, peaceful, low key getaway is what you are looking for, look no further.
