Around 2 centuries ago, our grandparents decided to build a castle for their winter stays and to protect themselves from rivalries. On the ground floor you can find the olive press that the residents had in order to make their olive oil. Now, centuries later the castle is ready to open its arms is waiting for you to explore this unique castle as well as try local products in Pagkia!

Petrea Castle belongs to the castle's complex Troupaki-Mourtzinou of Upper Kardamili in Messinian Mani. Built in the early 18th century, recently restored on plans by Greek Ministry of Culture, preserving with respect its historic and architectural character.
