Wendels Acre is a rural property, our house and grounds is an acre of garden & 4 acres of land, running sheep. The studio has sea views and it's own private garden. The location is close to Mapua Village, Rabbit Island, Motueka, Great taste cycle trail (Nelson to Kaiteriteri), Kaiteriteri Mountain bike park, & Abel Tasman National Park. We have enhanced the plantings to encourage native birds which is a quiet, relaxing & tranquil area. We are a retired couple looking forward to hosting you.

We have a completely separate unit below for our guests with its own entrance . Our flexible bedding arrangements means we can accommodate a number of combinations. The super king in the bedroom can be used or two single beds if preferred. The fold away made up queen bed in the main area allows more space during the day. We are open to meeting the bed requirements you may wish to have 2 single beds in one room and a queen bed in the other. What a wonderful view you will have when you wake up.

The Cottage is located on a small farm near Nelson. If you are looking for clean, comfortable accommodation, quiet but still near civilization, this is just for you. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind. In tranquil rural surroundings, enjoy a glass of local wine on the deck and uninterrupted views of the night sky. The Cottage is well equipped and has everything you will need for a relaxing stay. An extra fee is charged to access the second bedroom if travelers are not a couple.

Beautiful Boutique Straw Bale Cottage, completely private with 3 double bedrooms (sleeps 6 adults, plus 2 additional single beds and cot available) on a 16 acre farm in Brightwater, Nelson. Situated in the heart of wine country with beaches, rivers (fly fishing), cafes and cycle trails a few minutes away. Large garden, BBQ & outdoor dining. There is one parking space available on our section, breakfast is included in your stay, with a vegan option on request. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located place. 10 minute walk to both central Nelson City and the hospital; this private, self-contained studio apartment with a king bed upstairs and couch downstairs that folds out to a double with bathroom and kitchenette has a gorgeous outlook. The unit is separate with own private entrance up a path attached to the side of our quiet home. The path is steep - hence the lovely outlook, but it may not suit people with mobility issues.

The Courtyard - in a beautiful rural location

The studio has a small kitchenette and a modern compact ensuite. It is fully furnished and equipped with everything needed for your stay, including free Wi-Fi and off-road parking. The stand-alone studio has its own entrance in a shared courtyard with the main house, situated on 2 hectares (5 acres) in a rural location 15-20 mins from downtown Nelson. We have cows, goats, chickens, a cat and a small aviary. You are welcome to explore the property and enjoy the views and birdlife.

Relax in this tranquil getaway. The cabin is a cosy hideaway with armchairs, dining, fridge and microwave. Up the ladder is a mezzanine for sleeping. The second cabin contains the shower and toilet. It spills out onto a landscaped garden with a tree-lined patio looking over Fifeshire Rock and ranges. It's one of the most beautiful spots in Nelson. Steep climb from the road, up steps and boardwalks. We suggest a pack, not a suitcase.
