Enjoy the beautiful garden in the summer sunshine or hunker down next to the fire in the winter, Hoo Cottage has it all! It is one of the few thatched Cotswold Stone properties, tucked away in the idyllic village of Chipping Campden. We have done our best to bringing out the distinctive character of this historic property, while furnishing it in a luxurious rustic style. The history of the cottage is still up to debate. However, we have found evidence of it playing a role as the village bakery.

The self-catering accommodation consists of a (super king size) bedroom and spacious luxurious bathroom, an open plan, fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area with bifold doors opening onto the south facing balcony with rural views. The Cottage: Meris’s is a secluded getaway where you can snuggle up in front of the log burner’s licking flames, play games, read, eat and drink, or sit outside in the garden soaking up the atmosphere enjoying the surrounding woodland and its wildlife. Originally built in 1871 Meris’s has just been beautifully renovated and is now ready to welcome guests. Located down a private drive you will be surrounded by nature with a gurgling stream running right past the house.
