Ducks Paradise

We live on a lifestyle block North of Kaiwaka. The cabin is self contained, having a combined lounge/kitchen/dining; bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin. A bedroom with two king size single beds. The kitchen has pots, pans, cups, glasses, plates and cutlery. There is coffee, tea, milo, milk and sugar. There is also WiFi in the unit. Guests are welcome to wander over our property. We have a non smoking and non vaping policy. Please note: the charge for 1 guest is $75, 2 guests is $125.

Ganeden Eco Retreat is set overlooking valleys of native bush and pasture. Ganeden relies solely on solar power generation and is earth friendly. This retreat offers an experience in comfort & sustainability. You will be 5 to 15 km from some of NZ's great expansive white sandy beaches, stunning walks, cafes & outdoor pursuits. Your accommodation is half of the main house. It is completely closed off for your privacy with private access & outdoor deck. BBQ by request. Not suitable for children.

No required interaction unless you require something or would like some local knowledge on things to do. Our place is located in the heart of the beautiful Taurikura Bay only a stone throw from the waters edge with views of the bay. We are surrounded by beautiful bush walking trails suitable for all levels of fitness & beautiful beaches to choose from.

Located 1 minute from Little Munro Bay, where kayaks and boats can be launched. World renowned hiking trails are on your doorstep like Mt Manaia, Mt. Aubrey and the Te Araroa Trail.

We are 15 mins drive on sealed roads to amenities in both Mangawhai and Wellsford, 8 mins to the Te Arai surf beach turnoff and 12 minutes to the Te Arai Links course.

A very relaxing sunny private space with lovely country and panoramic scenic views of the Brynderwyns and surrounding Mangawhai, wonderful sunsets and night skies. We are 2.5kms (unsealed) from the main road into Mangawhai. Only a 10 min drive from Mangawhai Village and a 90 minute drive from downtown Auckland.
