Nestled along the Mississinewa River near James Dean's hometown, Taylor Univ and Indiana Wesleyan Univ, we were originally named Harrisburg, until the natural gas boom of the 1800s. The town was renamed Gas City boasting to grow to a pop of 50 thous, but sadly the gas wells dried up. Visit the Gas City museum at 210 South A St opened 1-4 sat&sun, relax at Beaner Linn Park 701 S Broadway or visit one of our shops. Pool House On The Lake

The Pool House on the lake has several great features and is more the just a lake house. The house sets on a 5 acres wooded lot with a private gated drive. The 1950s home has the original bathrooms and kitchen but has been updated with great wifi ( for work or school) and new HD TVs through out. The view to the lake is one of a kind with its own private sandy beach and fire pit. No matter what the weather is there's something to do because this house also has a heated indoor pool(all year long).

Located near our historic home, built in 1848, you’ll find a carriage house with an upstairs apartment with everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. This is a quaint, rustic cabin like space with private outdoor area. You are only five to 10 minutes from BSU and IU Ball Hospital, downtown, Elm Street Brewing, the Children’s Museum, walking trails and most restaurants.

Historic neighborhood. One block to BSU Village and less than 1 mile to downtown; Ball Memorial Hospital just few blocks down the same street. Registered historic property; truly walking distance to BSU for those visitors who don’t want to drive. Off-street parking is in the back alley. We kindly ask guests to be considerate to neighbors. Keep in mind, this house is near a college campus, and during graduation and sports events students/neighbors may be celebrating outside.
