Coon Creek Camping Cabin

The Coon Creek Camping Cabin is a remote and rustic cabin in the Medicine Bow mountain range. This cabin is for the adventurous camper who wants to get off the beaten path. It has aerial views as well as trail head access and close to the Sand Dunes. Free Trailhead parking with a short 3 minute hike to your cabin (recommend packing light). Enjoy the quiet beauty of nature in this truly Wild place. Hike into the Non motorized areas of the State Forest or bring your ATVs for some fun in the Sand.

Historic cabin built in 1950 by our great grandfather at the confluence of two Laramie River tributaries on 12 acres at the foot of the Snowy Range Mountains. 1600 square foot home with modern amenities in an authentic Wyoming mountain setting. Watch amazing trees and wildlife while sitting in the hot tub, warm up by the fireplace after a day in the mountains, and grill on the patio overlooking the creek. The peace, quiet and beautiful views will help you unwind and relax. We have dozens of games for your whole family, are close to trails and lakes, and have a fully equipped kitchen and coffee bar (including a coffee grinder). We have great internet, making it easy to work remotely if you'd like! We know you'll love it up here as much as we do!

There is a nice covered deck with outdoor seating and plenty of sunlight. The cabin backs up to Zirkel National Forest and the Elk River flows right across the road. The Evergreen Cabin is a perfect setting for a quiet getaway. There is Wi-Fi in the cabin and a small tv that you can stream from or watch dvds.

The perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful scenery. 11 miles from Saratoga you are in the perfect area to enjoy the country but have the amenities of town close. We recommend 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive in the winter.
