Goetre Hall is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Welsh countryside near the Shropshire borders, on the outskirts of the small village of Meifod. The perfect spot for a relaxing countryside break but within easy reach of the many attractions that Mid Wales and Shropshire have to offer. The footpaths on our doorstep give you an excellent opportunity to explore mid Wales. Baileys Stables at Efyrnwy Escapes, Pontrobert.

Setup with everything you may need, including bedding and towels. With two double bedrooms, bathroom and a large living space this is perfect for a quiet getaway bolt hole or a place for family adventure. Fully equipped kitchen including fridge/freezer, Air Fryer, Microwave, cosy log-burner and a stocked wood store. Dining inside or out on the decking; tables and chairs are provided and a private BBQ on the seated patio area for those late summer nights stargazing with a nice glass of wine.

Red House Cottage (self catering cottage)

Modern, very comfortable and very clean. Sleeps 4, double ensuite room and double/twin room also ensuite. Outside area, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. In a quiet village setting with two pubs serving food within a two minutes walk of the cottage. Free wifi, smart TV’s in bedrooms. Until recently Red House Cottage was run as a B&B but the owners decided to fit a kitchen to create a self contained cottage for self catering holidays. The cottage is on the side of our home.
