This cozy cabin is located in Crawford County, Michigan, known for its military & State owned land. 60% of the county is available for recreation including ORV and snowmobile trails, XC skiing, kayaking, biking and hiking. The cabin is surrounded by ORV and snowmobile trails. It is centrally located in the northern part of the lower peninsula for easy day trips to areas such as Mackinac Island and Traverse City. Higgins lake, with a small beautiful beach is just a 5 minute drive from the cabin.

It can accommodate up to 4 guests with 1 free parking spot and fiber internet. This new flat in Firehouse One embraces the history and architecture of the building with its large windows, 10’ ceilings and exposed brick while introducing clean and modern furnishings and finishes for a comfortable atmosphere.

ORV trailhead is very close (we ride to the trailhead from the cottage), plus snowmobile trails, and state land. Public boat launch under 3 miles away.
