Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! Old country cottage built in 1873 set in the small village of Melvich with amazing coastal views and breathtaking scenery. On the North Coast 500 route, this property offers an ideal location for exploring both Caithness and Sutherland. Melvich boasts a sandy beach within a 5 minute walk from the cottage. This property has a private and enclosed garden with private parking. There is an open fire in the living room which would be set by the host. Dog friendly, max 2 dogs.

Welcome to a unique and interesting stay for your trip to the Highlands. Unlike most glamping pods, Koya has plug sockets, a real bed with bedding, and a deck area you can sit out on and enjoy the stars. There is a fully equipped communal area with a hot shower, toilet, kitchen facilities and all you need to cook a meal, there's also a fridge and freezer. the kitchen has a microwave, oven, toaster, kettle and hob. Outside is a fire pit, BBQ, coffee machine, & pool table.

Our cabin can comfortably sleep 2 adults and 2 children with a double bed and double sofa bed. It has a fully equipped kitchen area containing a over, hob, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster and kettle, and has a separate bathroom with toilet, sink and power shower.

Taigh Neonach is Gaelic for odd cottage which suits its slightly unconventional character. A fantastic base to explore the North of Scotland, whether you are touring the NC500, relaxing in the quiet wilderness of Caithness, doing a spot of fishing, shooting, walking, cycling... the choices are endless like the views!
