Kamesei Ryokan is a family-run traditional onsen inn with mostly warm wood construction and gardens throughout. We are an American-Japanese couple that are happy to share our onsen town Togura-Kamiyamada with visitors curious about the Japanese countryside. You can relax wearing yukata robes in your private tatami mat rooms and enjoy the hot spring mineral baths rich in sulfur content. (The onsen baths are tattoo-friendly.) Our chef's creative kaiseki-style dinners are highly recommended.

SARUYA - Twin Room #8 in Modern Traditional Hostel

Our private room features 1 or 2 futon beds on traditional tatami floors. The shared areas include bathrooms, dining space and a work/lounge/library area. The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.

Welcome to Minshuku Yasuragiso, a traditional Japanese inn with over 50 years of history. We have 9 private tatami rooms, and only 4 offer Mt. Fuji views. Sleep on traditional futons and enjoy an authentic Japanese stay. Lake Kawaguchi is within walking distance, and the famous reflection spot is just 10 minutes away. Kawaguchiko Station is 1.7 km away. Supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, and hot springs are all within walking distance.
