Built during prohibition, this private basement apartment has a fantastic speakeasy feel for those needing a secure isolated space. Spread out on the leather sofa in front of the 60" LCD TV with Roku. Exposed wood paneling and brick accents, little nooks and crannies, and a bottle collection transport you to the roaring twenties, while latter-day luxuries include a spa bath and electric fireplace. Prepare your own meals in the updated kitchen with full size fridge, sink and countertops. Microwave, toaster/oven, and induction hotplate (complete with pots and pans) for all your cooking needs. In what once was the hidden cellar situated beneath the main house is a private living room, kitchenette, bedroom and bath all with it’s own separate entrance and courtyard. Enjoy the cozy bedroom with Queen Size Bed! Only a mile from the light rail, with abundant access to public transportation, and take the light rail out to the airport or in to downtown. Uber, Lyft, and taxis also service this area. There is plenty of street parking in front of the house. From April to Nov, pay attention to the street sweeping signs once a month... * 4TH WED you cannot park in front of the house during the day (you’ll have to park across the street). * 4TH TUES you cannot park across the street during the day (stay on our side) (Local tip: Keep your eye out for the street seeping signs all over town... the meter maids are lighting fast)

Timeless Mid-Century Home near Downtown and Ski Canyons

Enjoy the charm of fully-renovated 1950s family home, meticulously furnished to celebrate its mid-century roots. With a super-central location it's a breeze to explore Salt Lake. Find world-renown skiing and hiking up the Cottonwood canyons to the right, or turn left to explore downtown. Park City is just 35-minutes away via scenic Parley's Canyon. Or stay in — craft meals in a fully-stocked and modernized kitchen and cozy up by the wrap-around retro fireplace to relax after dinner. And if you're working remote, 200mbps 5Ghtz WiFi will make those video calls as smooth as butter. We wanted to make our ideal, luxury SLC getaway... and this is it! We completely renovated this 1959 house to give it the modern features we couldn't live without, while still keeping a timeless, retro style. This is for the entire, separate upstairs apartment, which features 3 bedrooms each with queen beds, and 1.5 baths – so it's perfect for the whole fam! Our favorite feature – the cozy, wrap-around fireplace...perfect for a warm night in while it snows. And the deep-soak tub is a close second. The place also has a new, modernized kitchen, separate washer and dryer, and of course dedicated private front & back entrances. You'll be able to access the property with a unique code on our keyless locks. Also please feel free to enjoy the big backyard! There's outdoor seating and a grill. Plus we have lots of grass to hang out, play catch, lounge, etc. Parking is on the street in front of the house. Please try to avoid parking in front of our neighbors if you can – there is room for 3 cars. We live in the basement with our own separate entrance, so most of the time we probably won't see you (unless you want to say hi!) That said, we're always just a message or knock away should you need anything. And if we're out of town, our co-host Celina lives just a few minutes away in case of emergencies. This upstairs unit of our home is in the leafy Salt Lake City suburb of Millcreek, located in a quiet residential neighborhood on a cul-de-sac with no through-traffic. Just off Highland Drive, its easy to access all Salt Lake has to offer. Get to the airport in 20 minutes, downtown in 15, and the canyons in 20. Plus the home is surrounded by restaurants and shopping, even with coffee shops within walking distance. Should you need anything, the hosts are nearby. You'll be close enough that you'll typically drive city and side streets to get everywhere. That said, the I-215 and I-15 freeways are 7 minutes away if you want to go farther faster. Plus local bus routes surround our home – A 5-minute walk to the nearest stop and you can get literally anywhere.

Cozy Victorian Townhome, Trendy Lohi Neighborhood.

Get a taste of Victorian Denver in a living room with preserved brick walls, stained glass and tall windows allowing lots of light. Rooms have high ceilings in this townhouse and are tied together with restored hardwood floors and original millwork. City of Denver License # 2018-BFN-0004619 High ceilings, exposed brick walls, decorative trim and other elements make this original Victorian townhome a rare gem in a newly redeveloped neighborhood. The home is split level with the living room, dining room and kitchen downstairs and the bedrooms, office and bathroom upstairs. (Please note, guests with children should take extra precautions with the hardwood stairs.) Lots of natural light pours in through large windows and a patio is available for lounging in the back. There’s a 55” television in the living room and a 42” tv in the master bedroom. Granite counter tops and stainless appliances adorn the kitchen. Guests have access to all areas accept the outdoor shed and mechanical room. Guests can contact me anytime for house related questions or recommendations on eateries or local activities. I’m available by phone, text or email. The townhouse is in LoHi (Lower Highlands), a popular neighborhood due to its walking proximity to award-winning restaurants, breweries, and boutiques. Downtown Denver, Union Station, and Coors Field are just beyond the Highlands footbridge. Most everything you need is a 10-15 minutes walk. Electric scooter rentals are widely available throughout the area. Not to mention fun, speedy and affordable! Otherwise a downtown bus stops across the street and Uber/Lyft drivers are always close by. Early check-in / late check-out are only possible by special request and require an additional $25 fee.

Guests have access to everywhere in the house except the office and the garage. Those two will be locked. Remember to check out the basement and enjoy the ping pong and pool table and Pac-Man! Host is always available by phone to help guests if they have any questions about the house or the area! Stapleton is one of Denver's most sought-after neighborhoods. Stapleton offers high-end boutiques and gourmet restaurants. Pay a visit to the nearby Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, which extends to nearly 16,000 acres.
