Calico Cottage on Harris Pond - a Peaceful PlaceThis is a very quiet area, but still close to some of Wisconsin's well known attractions - 25 minutes to the Dells, 1 hour north of Madison, 2 hours from Milwaukee. Harris pond is well known for fishing and the wildlife in the area. Deer visit everyday, lots of ducks, heron and geese. Fish from shore or use one of our boats. Bluegill, small and large-mouth bass are very common in the water. Please note that the fishing varies during the year. It is much better in winter and early spring.
