We're lucky to be surrounded by farmland, countryside, mountains, sea, National Parks, fresh air and birdsong. Just a short 10 minute drive from the popular village of Mapua and 10 minutes from Motueka this artistic, modern, roomy and stylish studio is a perfect getaway. The Studio is located at the rear of our home property, down a private drive, with ample parking.

Visit the animals, kayak on the dam, lunch by the pond and watch the magnificent sunsets over the neighbouring vineyard. 10 minutes to the historic Moutere Village for artisan produce, a drink at the Moutere Inn, New Zealand’s oldest pub, and many local vineyards. 15 minutes to Motueka and Mapua

It is the perfect place to start your journey to the gorgeous Abel Tasman National Park as well as Golden Bay and of course biking the Great Taste Trail, Motueka is also the perfect place to end your awesome escape to nature.

Once a pottery shed now a one bedroom cottage with ensuite bathroom, fully functional kitchen, living, dining areas and rear patio area with afternoon sun and views of the mountains. Within walking distance of Motueka town centre, Motueka golf club, taste trail cycle path and all local amenities.

Stunning views from warm cosy yurt

The handcrafted and wool insulated yurt is warm and cosy year round and has a skylight to gaze at the stars at night. A private retreat in the native bush with outdoor kitchen, bath/shower and composting toilet all with amazing views of the Motueka river valley and the Tasman Bay beyond.

Quiet and cosy Motueka

The master bedroom and en-suite in my home is set up as a private Airbnb room. It has its own car parking area, entrance door, and kitchenette. I live in the rest of the house. So its like staying in your own motel room but without that usual bland and touristy motel feeling.
