Close to other popular beaches such as Robe and Beachport. Southend is adjacent to the Canunda National Park for 4WD enthusiasts. Southend is perfect for fishing, sailing, swimming or just lazing on the beach. A surf beach is situated between Southend and Beachport. Southend has a small shop that is licensed and sells basic groceries. It has a takeaway fish and chip shop open weekends (6 days during summer).There is a local community club open weekends (open for meals in summer).Restaurants and other shopping is available in Beachport and Millicent, both a short drive away. We would like to stress this property is our own beach house. It is not resort standard accommodation. There isn't any air conditioning only fans and basic heating. Our pricing reflects this. It should be viewed as a comfortable base for exploring the area and other activities : fishing, boating, surfing and 4 wheel driving.

It's a short stroll to Hoopers Beach, as well as the Main St where you'll find shops, cafes and more. Pack up your car and head to Long Beach for a day out in the surf, or take a stroll along one of the walking trails close by. Our house suits families and couples looking for a relaxing holiday home, and has a fenced in backyard with a lush lawn and huge pergola for entertaining.

Lighthouse Keepers' Cottage (1 bedroom)

A dose of fresh sea air is just what you need tranquil sea views quite literally beckoning you from the front door step, a more fitting place to stay on the Limestone Coast cannot be found. Built in 1933 to house the intrepid lightkeepers of the Cape Jaffa Lighthouse. It is just a 7mins walk to the jetty, seafood market, hotel, supermarket and cafes. Best of all you can return home to your beautiful seaside retreat to unwind- just choose a nook and settle in with a book and a glass of wine!

Enjoy a cup of tea on the deck and watch the peacocks or go to the farm cafe and buy a camel milk gelato or humpacino! Listen to the Guinea Foul sing in the evening. Walk the grassy lane (1.5km) to the Woakwine Conservation Reserve and observe rare birds and flora. Gorgeous Long beach is a 2 minute drive! Robe town centre is a 5 minute drive. Do a Milking Tour or Camel Safari! Family friendly.

Two Storey - North facing beach home 100 m to ski lake. Located a short walk into the Main Street and Mahalia coffee but away enough from the hustle and bustle. Stroll onto Hoopers beach or jump in the car out to long beach. The ski lake has a beautiful reserve where the kids can have a paddle whilst you cook a bbq. We really hope you enjoy your stay. Our newly renovated front yard is great for games on the lawn or perfect spot to have an afternoon beverage soaking in those rays.

Susan's on Hoopers

Susan’s on Hoopers is in a great location with Hoopers Beach just a minute away and 10 minutes away from the Main Street where you will find great shops, cafes and restaurants. The walking path that leads to Long Beach is directly across the road, distance is about one and a half kilometres. Five minutes walk to Front Beach. Plenty of fishing spots, off beaches or Jetty Apartment is well maintained and private with a beautiful grass area in front of bbq alfresco dining.
