On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. Welcome to this unique combination of an Idyllwild woodsy cabin and your own private Hawaiian tropical tiki treehouse! The Cozy Lodge & Tiki Treehouse sits down off a private, quiet, unpaved dirt road. The lodge is a 250sq ft cozy studio-guest cabin decorated with Idyllwild vintage decor and is backed up onto a secluded forest corridor with the tiki bar just a few steps away (think Pirates of the Caribbean meets Swiss Family Robinson). 5 min drive into the heart of Idy. Pet friendly/no pet fees.

Very close to Idyllwild Arts school. Park in front of your private cabin. Idyllwild has wonderful hikes, wildlife & snow in the winter. There’s a ceiling fan & no AC but It is 20+ degrees cooler than off the hill as it is at 5500 ft elevation in the San Jacinto mountains. No partiers! Quiet Hrs 10pm-7am

The cabin sits in a large, tree lined lot that is shared with the downstairs basement apartment. The only shared space is the backyard and laundry room (laundry available upon request).

Treetop Hideout is a classic alpine chalet perched high on the ridge overlooking Idyllwild village, surrounded by panoramic views of the San Jacinto mountains.
