Beautiful shepherds hut powered by solar for an off grid experience along the Wild Atlantic Way situated on Connemara farm land located 20 minutes from Galway city and 10 minutes from Oughterard and Lough Corrib. Sleeps 3 with a double bed and a single bed. Kitchenette with running water and gas hob, separate fire pit/BBQ area and outhouse with toilet, sink and heated shower. There is a small wood burning stove in the Shepherds hut with kindling provided. Towels and bedding are also provided.

We welcome you to stay at our newly renovated coastal home in the heart of Barna village on the Wild Atlantic way and 15 minutes from Galway City and 10 minutes from Salthill. We look out on Galway Bay. We are 2 minute's walk from the two beaches and 5 minute's walk from the great selection of restaurants, pubs, hotels , cafes, hairdressers, barbers, supermarket and launderette. We are on the main thoroughfare between Galway city and Connemara including transport links to the Aran Islands.

Our l caravan is set within our beautiful garden where you will find yourself immersed in nature and waking up to the sounds of birds. It is very private and tucked away from the rest of the properties. Has a small double bed and a bunk bed. Perfect for 2 adults and 2 small kids or 3 adults and 1 small child. Despite the small size it is very comfortable. We are 20 minutes away from Galway City, walking distance to Bridget's Gardens Café and a short drive to Connemara national park.

Ballindooley Castle

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels

Catherine's Cottage @ Ross Castle Galway

Catherine's Cottage is one of three courtyard cottages with three ensuite bedrooms, a full kitchen, dining/living room, washer/ dryer and underfloor heating. All of the bathrooms have heated towel rails and the bedrooms hairdryers. Sleeps maximum of 6 people. The Aran Islands, Cliffs of Moher, Ashford Castle, Kylemore Abbey, salmon/trout fishing, golf courses and horseback riding are some of many attractions of this region.
