I have decided to rent out my personal farm house\ guest house to happy road trippers seeking solitude and a peaceful surrounding. The house is within a valley surrounded by 48 hectares of open land,beautiful mountain (cederberg) backdrops and a river with three natural swimming areas within walking distance of the guest house and the place include a 25m lap pool right in front of the veranda! Oh and plenty of clean breathable air :). There is one full sized bed so its best suited for couples.

Hunter House - Self Catering in Cederberg

The Hunter House is a private holiday home in the Cederberg that is surrounded by blossoms, flowers and Namaqualand daisies in the spring. Summer brings the sound of the sun beetles and fresh peaches next to your holiday home. The river on your doorstep so if you don't swim in it during the summer, you can see how it grows in the winter next to a fireplace as you hear it roar. Handvol Gruis Guesthouse

The perfect farmstay getaway, safe and quiet. Nestled between the Hantam Mountains. The house is rustic and old but has everything you need with two inside fireplaces as well as a lovely stoep. Its ideal spot for a family holiday with beautiful nature surrounding the house. Hiking, bird watching and cycling are some of the things to keep you busy. 28km from the Klipwerf turn off. We are off the grid with no electrical kitchen appliances other than a frigde and freezer and gasstove.

Grysklip High Mountain Stone Cottage, Cederberg

This grey-stone cottage is built against a rock face which is a dramatic back wall for the interior. All the stone used for the walls was collected nearby, so the cottage disappears into the landscape. The views are spectacular in every direction. The interior is cosy with wooden floors and Cape furniture and Himalayan textiles. There are two 3/4 beds. The bathroom has a shower set against the rock-face, and there is a wonderful double outdoor bath.

Bushmanspoort (Cederberg) Mountain Cabin

Rustic, comfortable & spacious cottage, at "Die Poort", 28km outside Clanwilliam, over Pakhuis Pass, Rocklands Area, RSA. ( Cottage is perfect for 4 adults and 2 minor children. But not for 5 or 6 adults.) This eco-friendly setting of simplicity set in style, is nestled against the Cederberg Mountains. It is a nature lovers dream, ideally situated for hiking/cycling, bouldering/climbing, spectacular views, photography, romance and peace.

As a surfing destination, our fully equipped cottage is perfect for a quick lock up and go or a small family chill out holiday. It offers everything you need for a coastal getaway, from a hot outside shower to a fire pit with a deck area and mountain views. The cottage is 10 min walk to the famous Elands Bay surf break and one hour drive from the renowned Cederberg mountain rock climbing spots.

Brandrivier offers quiet, self-catering tent cabin accommodation nestled in the heartland of Namaqualand near Springbok. You can find peace and quiet on the farm. Our latest lodge tent is named Meerkat and you rent the whole self catering unit, hosting 2 people. We provide gate details so that you can come and go as you please, but we will always be available to assist with all your needs.
