The ceiling is 6 '4" ( 1.93M) so if you play basketball this may not be a good match for you. Very centrally located on a quiet street, 2 blocks from the seawall and marina, walking distance to DT shopping, restaurants, pubs, Art Gallery, Port Theater, etc. 1 block to bus stop, 2 min. drive to ferry.

This private suite below our family home inclusively welcomes airbnb guest, friends and family 🏠🐕‍🦺🌈 Situated in the Newcastle neighbourhood of Nanaimo it’s just a 300 meter stroll to the Naniamo waterfront. A 15 -20 minute walk to Maffeo Sutton Park and the inner harbour. From there stroll downtown and visit the many bars, restaurants and shops. Visit ‘Tourism Nanaimo’ for festivals and events. The principal bedroom has a pocket door in the hallway to bathroom with a stacking W/D laundry closet and deep wide soaker tub. Two designated desk/work areas for the convenience of working travelers.

Benson View Micro Studio - Private Door and Bath

A licensed clean cozy convenient micro studio + private bathroom and entrance - easy self check-in, free parking, full-sized bed (54" x 75", fits a solo or slim duo), near downtown, VIU, schools, hospital, sports arenas, ferries, 4 bus routes nearby, embraced by beautiful parks and trails, pretty mountain view. drive 5 mins or walk 20 mins to downtown/waterfront/VIU, drive 10 mins to Departure Bay. Tip: book multiple nights to save on cleaning, as it is charged once per booking.

Oceanfront Home - 1bdr Suite is a separate space.

South facing, sheltered from most of the wind, walk-on oceanfront in the city! Large deck, Solarium, Hot-tub, Kayaks and stunning views (Brandon Islands, Newcastle Island Provincial Park, Birds, Seals, Otters, Boats, Fisheries Canada docks). Swim, Paddle board, Kayak, Beach comb, Picnic or just relax - beside the salt water and a patch of old forest. Nanaimo is centrally located, permitting day trips to Vancover, Victoria and even Tofino. Luke (myself) reside in the suite.

Old City Quarter Miners Cottage

Private small one bedroom miners cottage in quite downtown neighborhood. Close to many amenities, VIU & hospital. Easy walk to the seawall, shopping and many restaurants. The cottage is set in a lovely garden with seating under the gazeboor under the grape arbor. Both hosts John and Marc are artists and have a small show room on the property that we a happy to open if our guests have a desire to see more of our art. Sorry we are unable to accept same day guests.

Upper Suite Riverfront Property

Spacious, peaceful 1250 sq ft. upper totally self contained suite. The crystal clear Nanaimo river at your doorstep. Spacious kitchen is ready for the family chef but if you don’t feel like cooking the neighborhood offers a variety of pubs and restaurants. Many trails close by for walking or jogging. Only a 10 minute drive to both the airport and B.C. ferries. Pets are permitted only with approval. If you plan on bringing your pet please message me before you book.

Character suite, handy location, downtown close

Everything downtown can be reached by walking 10–15 minutes. Casino, restaurants, bars, waterfront boardwalk, park, convention center, car rental, Harbour Air. 5 min drive to Departure Bay, Hullo ferry, VIU, beach. 15 min drive to Duke Point. Busses close. EVO bikes close too. Accommodation is the basement of a house built in 1934 on a big lot in a character neighborhood. Lots of windows. Funky cabin like design. Big garden. Generous parking area.
